Ironton Talent
Ain’t it unbelievable how much talent we develop in our program just from this small community?
Re: Ironton Talent

Vass before transfers 229-75 burg 5-1, Pendleton and transfers 211-84 6-2 ironton

Re: Ironton Talent
You're right, those are the facts. It's a fact that multiple impact players transferred in THIS YEAR simply to play their last year at Ironton. Not a single Burg starter transferred in this year to play. Those CB numbers account for kids who have lived outside of the district since they began at Wheelersburg (at least since they began high school). You're kidding yourself if you think CB numbers are a substantial argument in this case.ohbuckeye2 wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 10:55 amand you’re a fan of what Team lolscott1297 wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 9:48 am Lock it down boys! I don't mind kids transferring at all. It happens at all levels, but don't try and defend schools with illegitimate arguments like this.

Agreed. That's what us Wheelersburg fans have been saying for years. It is what it is. It's just a testament that players are drawn to success. Get over it and play the game.

If the kids and parents did it on their own without being recruited, it is what it is. Those kids have that right to play there. Plain and simple. Everybody commenting supports a school that has benefited from transfers at some point.

I think everyone, including myself, is tired of the same old discussion. Except the creator of this thread apparently lol

It will be interesting to see the CB numbers next year. This years numbers are from the 2018 rosters.
Camp North Star > Camp Mohawk
Re: Ironton Talent
I would say the Tri-State All Stars. They are from Portsmouth west, raceland, Russell, Huntington and Columbus. Then the county schools, lol. That’s a few of the schools.GalliaGrad78 wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:38 pm They aint called "The Lawrence County All Stars" for nothing! lol j/k
Re: Ironton Talent
How can you be a starter at ur school and just leave if not recruited? If it was one kid or not starting or not much playing time but that wasn’t the caseBlizzardMan wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:57 pm If the kids and parents did it on their own without being recruited, it is what it is. I’m curious, I really don’t know, who came from Russell and Huntington?14U wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 3:25 pmI would say the Tri-State All Stars. Re: Ironton Talent
Look. There’s innuendo that there’s supposedly evidence of certain coaches from ironton reaching out to players but unless there’s actual evidence, it’s just rumors. Having four new starters move in doesn’t make it look better but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true either.

Agreed. There have been reports of this happening, and even that it has been presented to the OHSAA but there has yet to be anything concrete come out of it. People will talk no matter what, but you are correct, those 4 new starters do not help matters.wobycat wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:49 pm Look.
