Playing 1/2 game the past two weeks hasn’t helped. I’m sure Wheelersburg will make it a priority to contain him. Waverly has a ton of weapons but they will commit to stopping him first.
Can Payton Shoemaker get 3000?

Re: Can Payton Shoemaker get 2000?
I was in Waverly tonight. I don’t think Waverly ever started inside their own 40!
Payton played the first possession of the second half but Waverly took over at the plus 25. I think he had all of those 25 yards.
I’ve seen Wheelersburg multiple times and they will definitely be the toughest test for Payton to date. Minford has a nice defense as well.
519 til 2000. I would think there’s a playoff game in Waverly’s future as well

Just my 2 cents ...I've seen both Wheelersburg and Amanda this season and i think Amanda would stand a good chance of beating burg. If Waverly doesn't get in their own heads about playing " THE BURG " and treat it just like Amanda or any other game, then i think they win by double digits next Friday.

I think burg wins this one going away. I’ve seen waverly play.Giorgio Tsoukalous wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 11:09 pm Just my 2 cents ...I've seen both Wheelersburg and Amanda this season and i think Amanda would stand a good chance of beating burg. Burg is a different team.

Ya, most drives were at midfield or in Valley territory. No chance to really “rack up” the yards.LucasDavenport wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 11:02 pm I was in Waverly tonight. I don’t think Waverly ever started inside their own 40!

Payton Shoemaker is special. I really hope he can get to 2000. He is as good as any RB I have watched out of the cut. He is so smooth in and out of his cuts. Dude is elite.
So he is close to 2000. Really can tell the kid would rather go 3-0 here than finish with 2000 yards. His season is still one of the best we have witnessed in a long time in Southern Ohio

Didn’t Portsmouth Parker have over 2500 last year? He has around 1300 this year and missed a game
Re: Can Payton Shoemaker get 2000?
great season by the young man. gonna have to bring it this week at Wheelersburg. tough place to win at (see Ashland)
Re: Can Payton Shoemaker get 2000?
I think he had close to 2500 last year in 11 games?
He was around 700 last week so unless he broke the state record I think he is around 1,000. He is definitely special and has the tools to play at the next level. Shoemaker had 363 vs. Fairland in week 4 so Parker should have a good night Friday.
Shoemaker almost hit 1,000 after week 4 so that's when the talk started. Thankfully, Shanks is back and Shoe won't need to carry the mail as often. The last 3 games he has played 7 quarters because of the blowouts. Guessing he'll play 4 quarters from here on out.

Tayveon Crawford from Steubenville leads Ohio with 1,586 . He has had back to back weeks of 325 and 338.

It sure is fun watching him run the ball. His ability to run laterally is just amazing. I can't recall a running back from this area that can go from north/south to east/west like Payton can. Hopefully he can stay healthy, break the school record and get over 2,000 yards rushing for the season. He's not too shabby on defense either.

I was reading on Parker and two men were talking about what he had in yards one was at 800 the other guy said he broke his dads record and over 1000 on the year against rock hill I believe. Then someone put the article down so as an outsider looking in that’s what I will going with. I do know one thing for sure both need to take the Big Hogs out for a steak , lol. I have a few friend that go watch the best games each week and can’t wait to watch Mr Shoemaker against burgShoedaddy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:33 pmI think he had close to 2500 last year in 11 games?

Yes I hit wrong button lol. I went and read on their site that Parker had 800 plus going into Friday’s game he is over 1000 now around 1088. Last week 17 carries 288. It also said he didn’t play against River Valley.Shoedaddy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:33 pmI think he had close to 2500 last year in 11 games?
