When do we hear Northwest shouldn't be playing in the SOC1?

Take 60 kids on a team and let em play a school with less then 20 players. Sad that one of the biggest schools has to be moved to play the smallest schools and then running it up on em. No need in any sport for you to let a kid score 9tds in a blow out

Nw normally can’t even compete with the soc1 yeah they are improving this year but can they sustain it

Anytime you choose between 60.kids to get best 11 and choose 11 outta 18 they are gonna win 90% of the time. Cause they will have 11 seniors and juniors playing 4 seniors 4 juniors 2 sophomores and 2 freshmen and there is a HUGE difference between senior and freshman on the football field

Northwest has a ton of really good athletes right now....in most sports.

How did NW turn it around so fast? I'm sure they probably want to be SOC2. They are going to be solid got a while.

Northwest will have to move back up in the next year or 2. Yes we have close to 60 kids, we have 6 seniors 7 juniors 21 sophomores and 25 freshmen.
The sophomore Braden Cambell carried the ball 19 times tonight and yes he had 9tds and I believe 365 yards which are school records. He had 12 or 13 carries in the first half. The starters only played 5 quarters the last 2 games. They played more tonight due to the fact they have a jv game in the morning and already have some jv kids out .
I think we started 4 freshmen tonight and several sophomores. I'm not trying to make any excuses but stating some facts. These kids have worked harder this year than they ever have in their lives. The seniors that have stuck it out and still play only won 5 games in the first 3 years of their highschool career. They have been on the wrong end of several beatings in their careers.

There was a group of Parents that took over the peewee program when the sophomore group started playing.
These coaches done a outstanding job coaching and preparing these kids for what your seeing now. These kids work their butt off and are great kids.
Coach Crabtree and staff are doing a great job getting these kids to believe and preparing them.

Yes they will be able to sustain it. There is a lot of talent coming through the system right now.

Northwest playing in the SOC I is a joke just as Oak Hill playing there all those years was.

Divisions for sports is based on enrollment. This should be no different.

Northwest has 6 seniors 7 juniors 21 sophomores 25 freshmen. They started 4 freshmen tonight and several sophomores.
