Jackson leaving the FAC

I'm not sure Jackson is the school I'd be worried about leaving the FAC. Chillicothe is the school I'd worry about. I have heard that rumor. If they leave who replaces them? If they are not replaced does the FAC survive? Again, this is a rumor.

Unioto would be the best logistical pick up if Chillicothe, or any team for that matter, left the FAC.

Yeah I had heard when the league first started that Hillsboro probably would be one of the first to jump ship to something more in their area. I love the Unioto pick if Unioto would be willing to leave the SVC. They're DIII now and honestly it makes perfect sense for them as they need to beef up a bit in terms of scheduling and conference teams they're playing. From a logistical standpoint it just makes sense but I don't for a second believe they'll want anything to do with Jackson or Chillicothe, (if they stayed).

I hope jackson does stay. I'm all for getting logan into the league and adding another team from the northern part of the conference. I hear circleville is unhappy in the misdstate league. Would be nice to get to 8. This is a strong league in all sports. Seems to many schools base everything on football, I have seen really good leagues falter becuase of one sport

Which sport(s) would Circleville be able to compete if there is unrest as a current MSL member? Unioto and Waverly would be better candidates in terms of travel and competition.

People said the league was doomed when it started , 3 years later and going strong . Haters

I was happy that the old SCOL morphed into the FAC and included Jackson. I was also concerned the Highland County contingent would not stay long due to competitiveness and travel issues. Yet the league has prospered and Jackson seems happy. Logan may find a FAC home along with Teays Valley or Hamilton Twp. if they leave the MSL. Still if the FAC ain't broke, don't fix it.

Without a North/South division would Hillsboro and McClain go for Logan coming in? I would say for Logan to join a league traveling wouldn't stop them. Where would Chillicothe go? Not too many places for them. Seems like if they did they would be where Logan is low.

Circleville and Logan Elm do not want to join a league with drives to places like Hillsboro. There is a reason why Circleville didn't rejoin the SCOL when it was reformed in the early 2000s. Now, if there was trouble with MSL realignment eventually when/if Teays Valley leaves for a league more appropriate to its size, then I could see those two listening.
