Where would Chillicothe go? Not too many places for them. Seems like if they did they would be where Logan is low.

Here we go again

Marietta
Parkersburg
Parkersburg South
Warren
Athens
Logan
Jackson
Chillicothe

Would never be more than eight in the league.
Counting all sports this could very well be a well rounded conference.
I can see championships bouncing around in every sport from year to year.
No team with a chance to dominate year in and year out.
What would be the travel time from Marietta to Chillicothe
Why would you take Parkersburg South and Parkersburg High? You are talking about schools that are double plus the size of every other school, except maybe Logan. (Not sure of Logan’s enrollment but know they’re larger.)
Doubting they would be interested anyway.

Yeah they're not leaving until the rest of the teams start to fade off, Jackson has struggled to find a league that sustains itself and they're not leaving one that is currently in tact. I still don't for a second believe the current state of the teams within this league will be the same 5 years from now but Jackson would be one of the last teams to leave and that's only if it had to.

Yeah you make this point every chance you get . Jackson was in one league for 91 years and then joined the FAC and is doing great despite many doubters. Very competitive league , Jackson does most of the driving. Solid league .

Easy to comment on it when so many are rumor to move on. Only solid league for a select group, think there's this much talk about this team leaving or this team leaving and there's nothing to it?? crazy to think it's 1 big happy league and now that the new is wearing off you're already seeing chinks in the armor.

Hillsboro, McClain and now there's another post with Miami Trace. Why would other teams be discussing with Jackson that they're flirting with the thoughts of looking for another league?? pretty silly. Jackson is the last team that wants to see anyone leave, before this league was started they were basically an independent.

Every trip for those schools are under 20 miles , minus Jackson . What would be the basis on leaving ?

Do you need one or something?? I love how all you Jackson posters think FAC is all fine and dandy, it'll make it that much funnier when teams start leaving.

Why did the SCOL fold, they seemed to be doing good for a while? Did the smaller schools leave and force the leagues hand?

Then leave , won’t be the first team to cut and run from
a league and won’t be the last . Whatever happens will happen.

Clinton Massie-Football
Wilmington-Basketball

That would be my guess on what happened to the SCOL plus the refusal of the Clinton County teams to want Jackson’s? Nothing to base this on, just a guess.

I mean...I make up a thread with literally the worst combination of schools and you jump and run with Miami Trace being mentioned, even though it’s clearly 100% made up and has 2 1/2 hour travel times between the schools.

Court House wants to leave too and join a conference with Memorial Building, Chamber of Commerce, Police Station and Correctional Facility but they can’t find a 6th member and worry 5 isn’t a good number. Inviting the Electric Department but they aren’t sure watt they’re thinking.

I heard there’s a plan in the works right now to add Columbus DeSales, a school in Western Ky, and 2 teams in Southern WV. Jackson is using all its power to kick out MCClain, and Athens called the Governor to ask him to intervene to get them in too as long as Jackson is forced to stop the parking charge and move back to the old football field. The field on the hill will be donated to Gallipolis and McClain to share. That’s what I heard from the second cousin of the powers that be.

You'll be ok, just because you can see the writing on the wall also. I'm in favor of making an all SEOP conference, Jackson, Waverly, Ironton, Unioto, Portsmouth, Burg and Athens. You'll be ok, most Jackson posters get upset at the mere mention of FAC because they're now in a league they should finish 1 or 2 in year in and year out. That competition will get you ready for playoffs,

Tell us all about your conference. I’m sure it’s far superior to the FAC.🤣
