Ha! I forgot all about that! A bunch of us posted a link to SEOPREPS on the Huddle, got banned, and then posted the banned message on here!

What year would that have been? It was a badge of honor to get that Huddle ban message!

Guessing 2009 as that was the year justicredible broke off from JJ’s and started Ohio Chatter In November of that year. Most of the sports and trivia guys went there. A lot of guys on Ohio chatter were banned from JJ’s for posting the OC link. Maybe called FreeHuddle for a short time

Did JJHuddle try to sue Freehuddle so they changed the name to Ohiochatter?

Steely Dan still lurking-around, but has not been on any ones "case" in a long time.
Once anyone insulted his intelligence, he usually had a quick and strongly worded response.
Guess Steely has mellowed over the last few years.

Reps are weird a bit. Have them on Ohio Chatter but I don’t use them often. I would like a thumbs up/thumbs down option on here.

jj Huddle went to pot when JJ started charging new members. I was there in the early 2000's. He started kicking people off for silly stuff. They'd get another user name and then hand him ten more dollars. He kicked me off because I said (jokingly) women's brains weren't evolved enough to serve as AD's when someone asked had they ever heard of woman being an AD. He said I was kicked off for my derogatory statement about women. Unlike many others, he wasn't getting my ten dollars.

Prince Trojan was the funniest poster ever! Bar NONE! Big Orange One was right there with him. BOO must have had a dozen user names. Lord he could stir the pot like no one else

I still love the site. I’ve kinda had to force myself away, or I’d be in here too much.

Have just been focusing on a heavy 2-3 year push to work as much as I can and exit my job at Disney and retire early to Ironton.

I’m really homesick and have realized how short life is.

@ 56 now, if the good Lord wills it so, I wanna be done here at 59 & back home to enjoy some tiger sports before the clock starts ticking faster than it has the past two years!

I started posting here in January of 2005, right after I bought my 1st desktop computer. a couple computers later. I still sit here at my desk and chat with my friends. I ain't got no fancy phone er ipad. just me and my rockin chair, and luzianne sweet tea. and sitting right in front of a window overlooking beautiful lake white. with my Doberman sleeping in his recliner right beside me.

Prince Trojan was awesome!

He was actually Brutus first - and had a sidekick Blaster. They were both hilarious. But eventually I think he was either booted or lost his log in and signed back up under Prince Trojan.

I had a good time meeting and hanging out with a lot of those guys from down in Southern Ohio. Biggdowgg, Ozzie, Trojan Dave, TigerTownTurkey, etc ...

I've had the same user name from the beginning. I think I joined 1/5/05. I love the site and have met so many great people here. I really look forward daily to chatting. I too lost over 8,000 posts during a couple of changes. but I'm not on here for that. obviously because I usually have longer posts. I just get on here to chat. ain't worried about post totals.
