Basye from Huntington will be tough to beat. She’s tough. JuSt do not know who she has to play with her.

Allison Basye is a beast. Definitely catching a few of her games.

I think I’d slip Adena above SE, but completely agree otherwise.

Westfall and Huntington both could pull off an upset of Ynioto if the Shermans don’t get healthy in a hurry.

Looks like a good win for Unioto. Perry won the Ashtabula Lakeside District Championship in Division II in 2019. Do not know what the Perry Pirates had coming back but looks on paper to be a very good win. On another note OHSAA did a coin flip and in 2020 there will be 2 District Championship in Division II coming out of the Southeast District. Division II has some very strong teams in Southeast District so with 2 Championships it make the road to the Regionals a little easier.

Logan Elm won the game by 50 points last season and both teams have everyone back. LE honestly didn't play very well from what I was told.

I don't know if the Steele girls played for Huntington, but they were beaten pretty soundly by Coal Grove it looks like.

How in the world did that team beat anyone by 50 last year? I was just going by what I saw when both played Unioto last year and I was more impressed with Westfall.

Saw SE beat Cole Grove pretty easily, and I thought Huntington lost to Coal Grove...

Is SE going to finish ahead of Huntington?
How was Unioto and Huntington?

Is Adena in the running for top spot?

Huntington did lose to Coal Grove.
SE has a chance to finish above Huntington if other players don’t step up and hit their shots. I heard last night that Steele, Haubeil, and Hirsch all contributed to the win over West Union. Basye did have 40pts but Steele put up 10pts, Haubeil and Hirsch put up 8-9pts. If they continue doing that and improve their defense. They will definitely be hard to beat.

The Unioto/Huntington game was really slow pace the first half. At least that’s what I thought. I was looking for Unioto to come out and run Huntington to death. They also wasn’t hitting some of their shots until the 2nd half.

Looks like Unioto may not be challenged this year. SE has a tough stretch coming up in league play will find out if they are a contender or pretender. The Coal Grove game was a solid win. Maybe the best team on their schedule. The more physical the game is allowed to be played will benefit the Panthers but night in and night out in the SVC that is a coin toss.
