I'll be impressed when he runs down Woodson from Gallia in that manner.

That's the thing. He just needs a little seam. He's truly a next level back.I-TownFanatic wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 9:55 pm Little dog has speed. No where to run though when he faces a pack of tigers

So much history between these 2 teams...always exciting to watch this game when both teams are having successful seasons. I remember watching many games between these 2 schools and probably the most memorable game i recall was 1993 at Portsmouth i believe when ironton had Jackson and Trojans had Parker. What a game it was...2 of the best teams and backs i have ever seen in southern ohio. If i remember correctly ironton won that game 17-14

I haven't seen this parker play yet and I'm going to try to take this game in friday to watch him. I watched the parker from the early 90's and the parker that played around 00' i remember watching Portsmouth play Van Wert in the state semifinal and that parker was a great back and fun to watch! If this parker is anything like the previous 2 parkers I've watched over the years, I'm sure i won't leave the game disappointed. The previous 2 parkers along with Jermon Jackson and Bobby Brice are probably the best southern ohio running backs I've seen. I'm assuming all these Parkers are related? Can anyone tell me for sure if these parkers are all related?

And this says Armstrong is a 4.58.
So if correct, neither Armstrong nor Parker have elite RB speed.

The Parker you saw in the 90s is the older brother of the Parker you saw against van wert I am pretty sure. I know The Parker you will see this Friday is the son of the Parker that played against van wert. Clear as mud right

Very clear! Thanks for the info! I thought they might somehow be related...wow that is pretty cool. Talent runs deep in that family. I'm even more excited to see this game now. Can anyone tell me how the new parker compares to the older two? I remember the early 90's parker being more of a powerful Bruising back with speed and the 00' parker being all about speed and quickness. Which does the new parker most remind you of?victor creed wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 11:09 pm The Parker you saw in the 90s is the older brother of the Parker you saw against van wert I am pretty sure. Both Parker and Armstrong are average speed per their position. Not much faster than LB's.

Based on scores of common opponents I'd have to agree but if this kid is anything like the previous Parkers in his family that ran the ball for Portsmouth then anything is possible.
