Good posts so far. My take for the Ironmen. Senior night, the chance of going undefeated. The history that will be on that field pulling for this year's team. They cannot be distractions but nothing other than fuel for the 2019 Ironmen. They have to use it all in a positive way. I saw a 97 Ironmen team who went in to Vinton County, a team they would have killed 9 out of 10 games and ruined back to back undefeated seasons. Anything is possible any given Friday night. So for the 2019 Ironmen, use it as fuel and maintain that focus. If that happens and the Ironmen are operating on all cylinders, ears pinned back and ready to go, I see a bad night for the Cavs! As always hoping for an injury free, well played battle. Safe travels to the visitors.

Absolutely I92...…….cant think of too many folks like yourself that know just not one sport but ALL SPORTS from the last 25yrs....you know your sports my man and always look forward to your posts and insight.......and if you are doubting my white jacket being on Friday.....well rest assure I92 the white jacket that fielded the BEST Ironmen Football Team EVER will be out in full force..... I do have a question though......I did hear coach hall call out all white jackets for pre-game festivities...…..is he forming the tunnel tradition with all former players and letterman jackets.....or is this a white jacket only type night??????

Jackson’s been on the road for a month . Finally back home , week 10, outright league title on the line , home playoff game on the line , 10-0 season on the line , I think alumni will be electric tomorrow night with a playoff type atmosphere. Will be cold and wet , like real football weather. Turnovers and cutting down on penalties will be crucial.

No I think you are correct. I didn’t know if a tunnel tradition was going to be formed. Used to be on senior night a tunnel of tradition of former players wearing letterman jackets. That tunnel would stretch from the exit of the old high school and would go sometimes 2-3deep from the fence to the goal post closer to the street. You rounded the corner and then headed through 200strong in the band. Pretty special that night we ran through that tunnel going 10-0 first ever play off appearance.

Anything can happen, but Jackson losing tonight isn't gonna be one of them. Just don't see it. They will keep it simple and pound the ball to a 28-7 type of victory. Good season, good luck at home next week.
