Simply stating a teams points given up through 4 quarters never knew it was a crime. I’m going off how many points a team scores against ironton in regulation not overtime. Because most games are over after 4 quarters

Oh it's no crime at all but they still gave up those points correct?? The defense was out there and Ashland scored in OT, if each team scored the same for 5 OTs are those not points given up?? Anytime you look at standings anywhere in sports it doesn't say points against, but only in regulation.

Exactly, what is the point?? 4.7 or 5.4 I mean really what's the point in trying to say minus OT, It's just not how statistics are kept. I am curious to see how Trojans stack up, simply put they don't have a season defining win this year. Very possible they go 8-2 and miss out on the playoffs

Having seen both, both teams have their issues. Portsmouth seems to have more issues with their coaching than talent. When CG played them, they never attacked the week spots with Parker. That kid has to get the ball 20-25 times a game. period. If he gets the ball less than that, portsmouth loses.

This game will come down to open field tackling. If portsmouth can tackle in the open field, they will have a chance. If they can't, they won't.

If portsmouth wants to win, they're going to have to force Ironton to beat them throwing the ball.

If Ironton wants to win, they need to win the off tackle run game. If they do that, it's going to be a long night for the trojans.

If the Trojans can succesfully use play action, pass the ball and open things up by making Ironton contend w Parker in the open field - it will be a close contest.

If Portsmouth cannot hold off Irontons defensive front and they allow Ironton to get the push off the ball Carrico and the rest of the LB unit are just way too talented at shooting gaps and making plays.

Cold game tonight. Wind and maybe a potential for some percipitation. It could very well be a grind it out running affair. So many great games played in this rivalry. It is nice to see yet another Tiger/Trojans matchup with so much on the line. This game is a throwback.
