If you could think of a crazy play it happened that first half. Fumbled kickoff re-kicked due to an inadvertent whistle. Defense getting an interception then fumbling it right back for positive yards for the offense. Offense coming out of the pile with the football but it still being called a recovery by the defense anyway. Plays being run while chain crew was 10 yards back still not set up. Many delays where officials debated how to enforce the penalties. So yeah I guess you could say it was an entertaining first half for both teams.

Waverly receiver pushes down Oak Hill db and 40 yards downfield the line judge? calls pass interference on the defense?

Great season for Oak Hill. 5-5 record and finished 3-2 their first year in one of the toughest leagues in SEO. I’d be lying if I said I thought they’d win any league games at the beginning of the year, it was considered a down year in every sense. They just hit their stride one game too late in the season. They were never the fastest or most talented team on the turf but always played with the most intensity and fire. To get to the point where you’re looking at one turnover right before half tonight and saying “what if” is a great thing on its own. Most of all, the coaching staff and kids put out a product that was respectful and represented our community well each week and you can’t ask for anything better than that. Good luck to the Tigers in the playoffs.

Both sides agree on the officials but be nice to the old man he’s only got a couple years left in himTiger Dad 2021 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 10:05 pm I don't know who was worse the announcer or officials
