Re: John Wall or Evan Turner?
Turner by far the better player. Do you think John Wall would have close to the stats he has without Patterson and Cousins? Those two draw alot of attention off of Wall. But Evan Turner doesnt have that other strong player like Wall does, and he has 2.
When it comes down to it, you have to ask who you would want on your team if you had to win that ONE game...and obviously its Turner because he has proven he can carry a team and i dont think Wall has.

I am changing my stance----Turner is a complete stud I take him in a heart beat. It would be nice if OSU had a PG so he didn't have to play out of position

It would be, but it has also increased his overall game, and his stock.
He can handle the ball, shoot from anywhere, and guard anyone from a 1-3....
...In College!!!

Re: John Wall or Evan Turner?
I haven't seen anyone lately in college who can clear out his own space so well and get clear to make the shot without pushing off. He has the best crossover in the game right now.

Re: John Wall or Evan Turner?
Turner is the player of the year and if he isn't, than that would be a travesty. He has the ability to take over a game at any point and there is nothing that the other team can do to stop him.
Wall best put some meat on his bones before he goes to the NBA.They will push him around like a school boy.
IMO, Wall sometimes gets out of control and he definetley can get a little bit of an attitude. The couple of games that I watched him play, him and Cousins were the two biggest crybabies I;ve ever seen on the court. They cried and whined about every call. Wall stepped out of bounds on one play after he got a rebound and they called him out and he went off. He should have been T'd up, but since they all think he is a God, they let it go.

Re: John Wall or Evan Turner?
Turner had a triple double today, 31 points, 10 rebounds, 10 turnovers.
Most of the turnovers happened on penetration, Illinois did a good job at striping the ball on layups.

In my mind, the POY is not just one who puts up his own individual stats, but someone who makes everyone around him better. David Lighty did a nice job running the offense in Turner's absence and for the last minute of the second OT today, but the Bucks season turned around when Turner came back, and I would guess that all of the Bucks stats improved because he sees the floor and not only gets the right people the ball but in the places where they can do their thing.
EVAN TURNER.....POY
