Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)
I was talking to a fella wearing a old North Gallia shirt along the fence on the Ironton side down at Memorial a couple weeks ago and he was enjoying how that game was going. I could have been in the presence of Rvfan and not have known it ?

The game can be heard on Big Country 99; 99.5 FM and online at www.wbyg.com.

I don't think Gallia Academy can hang with Waverly. I'll take the Tigers in this one by 21+.
Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)
I’d say this one comes down to the kickers. I’ll take Gallia 38-33

Also Gallia will get smoked if they do not make defensive adjustments from last week. But I expect Penrod to have the boys ready to go.

If that is the case I would say Waverly has the better special teams, Diener has been excellent for the tigers all year
A Kicker of various balls. Trust The Process

Ya, he says it will come down to the kickers and then picks Gallia. Waverly’s kicker is something special.

After watching the Waverly kicker hit 55 yard field goals in warm ups, i think I'll go with Waverly. Does Gallia have a good kicker? I haven't heard much about him. Strong leg? I'm guessing he must be pretty good?

Diener with a high percentage of kickoffs into the end zone. A few kicked out of the end zone in the air.

Kicking game seems to be pretty even. Having a weapon like that in HS is an X factor.
If Armstrong is healthy, I could see a GA win on the road, especially if the field isn't fit for throwing. May have been mistaken, but I believe I saw snow in the forecast.
If so, it could be lower scoring than we expect.
28-24 GA
I'll also pick a stunner and take Bloom-Carroll to beat Indian Valley.

Will GA kickoff deep? Deiner kicks it in the endzone approximately 4 out of 5, does GA? I don't think Waverly has received a kickoff in the air (non-squib) all year.

It really depends. Earlier in the year, they did. Toler has a pretty good leg, both for FGs and kickoffs.
But they might not want to chance it with the speed Waverly has.
