Congrats on a great season Burg. They ran into a buzz saw today with this Independence team.

Lost in Finals in 18

Experience helps at this level.

Also their schedule was crazy tough. 4 losses. 3 to good D1 programs and 1 to a D2 program.

The D2 is Bishop Fenwick who plays tomorrow.
We already discussed that 1 of the D1 losses was to 27-0 Parma Padua.

Independence also defeated Tusky Valley in 3 this year
25-14, 9, 13

Scioto County never sent a team to the Final 4 until last year. Portsmouth Clay was swept by eventual State Champion Tiffin Calvert.

Great season by The Lady Pirates. Their Regional Final comeback was one for the ages.

Btw Findlay Liberty Benton just mauled CHCA 25-11 in game 1 of the other semi — Independence will have a battle in the final.
