Where was all this physicality in the Ironton game? Perfect time to have shown it would have been then.

I am not understanding how GA is going to "overpower" the Tigers with some sort of brutal play. I like the Tigers in this one and think they will hold up just fine.
I was at the ironton game that was by far the worst game gallia played without there best player. Everybody has bad nights. Ironton lost to Ashland but it wasn’t because they weren’t more physical

And if you won’t me to be honest you take the rb out for waverly and they play ironton I don’t think the score would be much different. And I’m not making excuses for injuries because gallia still only lost to ironton this year with Armstrong missing half the season

I think it's been mentioned on here that Armstrong was back for tonight's game, what injury was he dealing with and is he 100%?? I've heard it was knee related, even MCL but I don't know how reliable that is.

It was a knee injury from what I heard. But he was cleared to play by the doctors I know that for sure

Ok I understand now that best player makes the other 10 more physical. Got it, thanks for clearing that up for me. Still like Waverly at home but truth be told probably a toss-up or pick-em type of game.

Yeah Shanks has been cleared to play all season long, so that whole cleared to play by the doctor doesn't mean a lot. Will be interesting to see how close to 100% Armstrong is and whether or not it will do more harm than go for the team if he isn't ready for action.

Ok to play physical and for that to be a asset you have to be able to make first downs to begin to wear a team down. Gallia academy made virtually no first downs so the physical play did not come into play.

But from an outside prospective waverly is no finesse OVC team they are going to have teams that have been big and layed on them trying to wear them down. This won’t be new to them.

I think Waverlys strength of schedule might show in this game. I won't be at all surprised by Waverly being the more physical team tonight.

No pressure Waverly but if you lose this game the lowly OVC will tie up the mighty SOC 2 at 6-6 for the year.

Good luck to both teams. Sounds like a legit toss up game from reading the comments. Hoping for a great game with no injuries and no further damage to the walking wounded..

Made it in, Gallia travelled really well, visitors sides are full, squashed in next to their band arguing OVC vs SOC with my Burg Buddy. Nice facilities Waverly.

Waverly ends Gallias first possession with a big stop on 3rd and 3 at their 27.

Gallia with back to back encroachments give Waverly a first down
