Nice game Minford came to play and they played a great game.
Reserved seats were sold to the GP if the holder did not purchase them by Tuesday.

I thought during playoff games fans couldn't go on the field?

I think everyone in the whole stadium knew that was coming.

Win and and advance! Wasn't pretty but Burg got the job done. Minfords play calling was a lot better tonight they opened up the playbook a little. Burg came out really flat it looked like the beginning of the year again. The second half Burg seemed to play better but hats off to Minford for playing their hearts out tonight good game. And the Ed was packed really great crowd! Great game enjoyed the hell out of it !

We must have been at different games. There were a ton of empty seats on the home side. The hill had a few people but a lot of room around the fences. I wouldn't call it packed at all.

To your second question, it was a hit outta bounds but was called a roughing the passer. Semantics
So the penalty doesn't matter!!! I don't understand that. I would think it has to go past the original LOS which is the 50.

If that is the case it was a good kick as it hit the Minford player around the 47

Wrong on both accounts.

The penalty "matters" because it was a personal foul. That offset the illegal forward pass.

On a free kick the ball has to go 10 yards. Penalties don't change that.

It can’t be roughing the passer because he was past the LOS so therefore he becomes a runner so yeah it matters that they call it right. Late hit out of bounds I can live with. White hat called roughing the passer.

It was a late hit , and was a good call. So he got the wording wrong . Was a justified call.

I know it was but when he called it it wasn’t justified and that’s what Burg fans were yelling about.

Where did I say it was roughing the passer? That's right. I did not. It was a personal foul. All that matters.

Two different things. Botched call but didn’t affect anything. Minford played well. Good game.

Wasn’t a botched flag , justified flag , referee called the wrong penalty. If he would’ve said unnecessary roughness would be a non issue

Every Coach was telling them it was coming you could tell especially since they were telling the players to move towards the ball.

Heartbreaker for the Falcons. That was the epitome of playoff football! Loved the play calling tonight honestly everything they ran was open burgs pressure just got EVL moving to where he couldn’t get the ball to the WR but all in all I think best called game this year. I will say they made burg earn it. Thought it was a pretty well called game official wise outside a few calls but very good crew in my opinion. I’m proud that the Falcons didn’t quit could’ve easily folded down 28-10 but roared Back into the game! The last onside kick was so close just luck of the bounce! Congrats to the Falcon Seniors you guys played with class and dignity all year! Also Congrats to Burg good luck next week!

Great game by Minford. Burg advances and has a really tough matchup. Ironton also has a nice matchup with Amanda. Good Luck to both teams in Week 12.

EVL played lights out. I thought minford had a good game plan myself. Burg coaches made some nice adjustments by running in between the tackles on minford. Take what they give you.

Why not have the hands team out there? Burg knew they were on the ropes, and needed a spark to get their mojo back, and everyone in the house knew it was coming. That exact type of an onside kick should be practiced ad nauseam when playing these guys. How many years do we have to see it?

Eh don’t knock it too much. Burg didn’t look good at all on minfords onside kicks. That’s a lot of pressure on that play.
