Hoping to play this one at Chillicothe, a great facility big enough for this matchup.
At Lancaster would be a huge advantage for Bloom Carroll, about a 10 minute drive.
Waverly played a great game last night in shutting out Gallipolis.
Don’t know a thing yet about Bloom Carroll other than they handled the 2 seed last night.
They did lose to Amanda whom Waverly handled.
But I think it comes down to match ups.

Waverly's defense is going to be the key in this game, Bloom Carroll in round 1 479 total yards, including 331 yards on the ground. Senior QB went 20-26 passing 205 yards and another 83 yards on the ground on 13 carries. Only common opponent for these 2 is Amanda Clearcreek who these 2 teams actually played in back to back weeks waverly playing them in week 5 and BC in week 6. BC QB is a 3 year starter 5,087 yards passing and 1,969 rushing – and 79 touchdowns over 3 years. This could be another shootout for BC, not overly impressed with the BC schedule in terms of who they've beaten but it's week 12 and you can pretty much throw that out the window especially anytime a #7 seed goes and upends the #2 seed. I think if Waverly can do enough up front to contain the run of BC and give Shoemaker space to run I like Waverly to take this one by 10, should be a really good game. Also think game will be played at Chillicothe

I really like Waverly’s chances in this one. This has shootout written all over it. I think Waverly wins in some fashion of 42-35.
Re: Week 12: 3. Waverly (9-2) vs 7. Bloom Carroll (9-2)
Other thing I noticed from last night's game against Gallia and the Burg game I went to waverly has to stay ahead of the chains. Waverly last night goes down and gets a score, defense gets the ball back and they try to air it out or do some rinky dink play that goes backwards. After that it seems like the drive is just done. 1st down, give the ball to Shoemaker that's the bottom line, it's playoff time, it's not time to get cute let the young man get 3-4 yards if they contain him and you're playing ahead of the chains that's worse case scenario more often then not he pops it for a 1st down. This is win or go home and Waverly's offense is #1 led so give the young man the ball every single 1st down who cares if they know it's coming, stop it. Don't help the other team out by getting cute.

Bloom-Carroll has an excellent kicker in Shirkey. 5 Star by Chris Sailer
A Kicker of various balls. Trust The Process

I watched BC early in the season on the Thursday night game of the week vs Hamilton township and they looked athletic and fast. I think BC matches up better vs Waverly than Amanda did. If Waverly plays with the same intensity they played with last night i believe Tigers come away with another victory.
Waverly - 34 Carroll - 31. i said a couple weeks ago that things were lining up for Waverly to make the deepest playoff run since 1989 and I'm standing by that statement. A regional final is a very real possibility. Waverly winning the line of scrimmage battle on both sides of the ball last night was no accident, the offensive line has got it done all year and the defensive line has improved every game.

Nothing like putting it right in BC’s back yard if Teays Valley is true.
Re: Week 12: 3. Waverly (9-2) vs 7. Bloom Carroll (9-2)
I would hope that's not the case, not exactly neutral and with Waverly being the higher seed not sure why it would be put a rock throw away from BC

Where else could they put this game? Chillicothe is too close for Waverly and so is ZT
Re: Week 12: 3. Waverly (9-2) vs 7. Bloom Carroll (9-2)
