Kinda worries me that Ironton has had such an easy go the last three games. The Fighting Tigers have outscored their opponents 155 to 12 the last three games and all with a running clock. That’s some pretty fierce domination

Doesn’t surprise me. Ironton has one of the best defenses I’ve seen in a long time. And there passing game is starting to click. There a very good ball team.

I can care less about blowouts, running clocks. 1st off , hats off to wellston as they made their 3rd playoff appearance they said. and had an awesome year. I feared the fighting tigers were way too much. but that does nothing to take the luster off of a fine year for wellston. the fighting tigers just need 1 more point than the aces to advance. and other than that, the rest is noise to me. and the fighting tigers have just been laying waster to very good teams of late. and saying the ovc does not prepare you for the playoffs is nonsense. the fighting tigers are on top of their game, and hitting on all cylinders right now.

I’ve seen Amanda play multiple times on film this year they look kinda small but they play together and disciplined it seems but idk if they can keep up with the physical nature of the tigers

No way at Oak Hill - visitor seating very limited.
Don’t think Chillicothe, much further for Ironton and Waverly will more than likely be playing there.

I think Ironton is a bit more physical up front than Amanda is, look for Ironton in this one by a couple scores.

At this point, it’s ridiculous to start estimating blowouts and large run up scoring.
I really don’t think any posters from Ironton posting are estimating blowouts or large victories, but I could be wrong.

Both teams are in the final 16 & that’s a factual number.
I’m not surprised both are at this point & I congratulate them both.

I know nothing of the team they beat, so I was concerned with them as a possible future opponent, but the AC ACES took care of the Academy of Gahanna, so now the ACES ARE ON OUR MINDS!.

They have great history and will come ready to rumble,

Ironton is really good even better than I initially thought they were, they’re a very complete team. They’re so deep, all the backs are big and run really hard and defensively they swarm to the ball and gang tackle.

Believe they’ll take it by 2-3 touchdowns pulling away at the end.

If you Don’t have The patience to read the long article, go right to the stats @ end. I’d agree with this poster’s opinion about penalties. THE FighTing Tigers cannot seem to clean this part up entirely & it has gotta be frustrating as a team.

Other than that, they are ferocious on both sides of the ball. I like how Gage Salyers has just throttled his way to being the most dangerous on the field. Yes, Carrico is a beast, but THE Fighting Tigers have so many big and capable backs, it’d take one helluva defense to Stop them!
