Week 13 - Ironton 24 Ridgewood 14
Re: Week 13 - Ironton (11-1) vs Ridgewood (12-0)
In 2017 it was Johnstown Monroe that stood on the 50 which is free game. They took their half so burg took theirs. And as for ridgewood taunting, they definitely did but didnt
go passed the 45 of burgs side.

No I don't think anyone believes that, it's week 13 and if someone thinks there's a team that's going to score every possession that'd be pretty amazing.

Is this the 1st meeting between Ridgewood and Ironton?
Everything I'm reading about Ironton is need to clean up turnovers and penalties. What is average penalty/yards and turnovers for Ironton per game?

I believe it is the first meeting between them.
Should be one of the better Regional finals.

Wood definitely crossed the 50...but in their face is just a bit over exaggerated. With that said Burg had plenty of chirp when they came out as well. IMO just 2 teams ready to do battle. I’m prolly in minority but I loved it. Both teams juices were flowing, which is way it should be.

What happened was wood ran down the middle of the field and most stopped at about the 45 on burg side, 2 players ran to the 38 and tried to provoke. Hey, I get it. It’s football, it’s all about being physical and trying to intimidate your opponent.
I was disappointed in burgs response to be truthful.

I agree soldier. Burg chirped as well. Not the response I would have like to see thoDaWoodSoldier wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 4:45 pmWood definitely crossed the 50...but in their face is just a bit over exaggerated. They definitely had a spell after the OT loss at AshLand, as they entered the softer part of the schedule and began enlarging the offensive structure. Many miscues and also typical fumbles at that point (games 4,5,6).
Then, they played lights out and could’ve beat many future opponents without doubt if progress continued without those hiccups.
I mentioned earlier I scratched my head raw last week listening in webcast & Im not joking.
I couldn’t believe we were winning and we had more penalty yards than Amanda Did on combined offenose.
If they clean it up, they’ll compete.

Re: Week 13 - Ironton (11-1) vs Ridgewood (12-0)
Don’t know the amount of times ironton has fumbled this year but I guarantee it’s about 20 no exaggerating and the penalty yards are the same. Thats how I know this defense is really good because for them to only allow 5.6 points when they give the other teams so many extra possessions on fumbles and yards on penalties is amazing and people can talk about there schedule all they want to. I know ironton brought down every bodies ppg this year and that’s a fact. They won’t be able to do this same thing this weekend that’s why I hope it gets taken care of they have had clean games penalty wise but I still feel like they fumble at least once a game a lot of time 2 a game and I’ve seen 3-5 a few timesorange20hd wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 4:29 pm Is this the 1st meeting between Ridgewood and Ironton?

FWIW, after Ridgewood’s final kneel down there was a good 10 or so seconds of hugs, hand-shaking and words of encouragement between the two teams before the two sides switched units to change of possession.

Have you guys not played Coshocton? I know the last few years they have been kind of down but I figured with it being so close there would be some kind of rivalryRaycharles wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 6:22 pmYup town called West Lafayette.
