Mentor defeated St Ed’s 29-28 in Week 1. Last year Mentor defeated St Ed’s 42-39 in Week 1 only to lose the rematch 24-14 in Week 13. St Ed’s won the Division 1 State Championship last year over Colerain.

Colerain defeated Elder 42-0 last year in Week 13. They defeated Pickerington Central in Week 14 before losing to St Ed’s. Colerain’s only loss this year was to St X who Elder beat in Week 12. Elder lost to St Ed’s in Week 4 (42-25)

Groveport Madison defeated Pickerington Central 19-14 in Week 4. Pickerington Central won the Title in 2017 over Mentor. Groveport Madison was 0-10 in 2017 and 5-5 in 2018.

Springfield’s only loss was Week 2 to (10-2) Fairfield 16-12.
Fairfield lost in Week 10 and Week 12 to Colerain
Springfield and Dublin Coffman have only 1 opponent in Common — Springfield defeated Dublin Jerome in Week 12 (37-14) Coffman beat Jerome 31-14 in Week 3.

6 of the 8 teams were in the Regional Finals last year. Springfield lost in week 12 and Groveport Madison didn’t qualify.

Massillon Washington was in R7 last year and lost to Akron Hoban in the State Finals 42-28. It was Hoban’s 4th Straight Title.

Avon won R6 last year and lost to Hoban in State Semis.
Avon defeated Avon Lake 13-12 in Week 1. Last year Avon Lake lost in Week 12 to Toledo CC who moved to R7 this year. Avon defeated Toledo CC in Week 13 last year.

Toledo CC had to get repeat victories in Week 11 and 12 over Toledo St Johns and Toledo St Francis Desales. They are probably happy to see Olentangy who limped in to Week 11 at 5-5. Olentangy played 8 D1 schools in the regular season and defeated 11-0 Anthony Wayne in Week 12 (31-21). Olentangy qualified in R8 last year at 5-5 and lost to Winton Woods 49-42.

LaSalle is here after losing to Winton Woods in Week 9 but defeating St X and Elder in Weeks 8 and 10. Winton Woods finished 9th this year at 6-3. Harrison defeated Columbus Desales 42-7 in Week 12

Aurora only played 1 playoff team in the regular season but knocked off Steubenville and New Philadelphia to get to week 13. Chardon defeated previously undefeated Streetsboro in Week 12.

Mansfield defeated Sandusky in Week 5 (21-14). Sandusky lost in Week 13 last year to Norwalk. They avenged that lost this year in Week 12.

Bishop Hartley and Johnathan Alder finished the year 1st and 2nd in R11 and 1st and 2nd in the AP poll. Hartley lost to Clinton-Massie and JA defeated Bloom Carroll 42-13 in Week 3.

Trotwood returns to week 13 after losing early in the playoffs last year. Their losses are to D2 Winton Woods and D1 Springfield and Springboro. Badin avenged a Week 1 loss to Ross in Week 11 and was able to get a second victory this year in Week 12 over Kettering After.

Perry finished 1st in this region for the Second year in a row. Last year Girard knocked them out in Week 12. This year Perry mauled Girard in Week 11 (48-7). Poland Seminary didn’t qualify last year. They did win the State Title in 1999

Ottawa Glandorf didn’t qualify last year out of R18 and Clyde was upset in Week 11 after finishing 1st in R10. These are the only 2 teams who won road games in Week 11 to play each other in Week 13.

Licking Valley won Region 15 last year and lost in Week 14 to Girard. Bloom Carroll lost in Week 12 last year. Licking Valley has won 7 Regional Championships but 0 state Titles. Bloom Carroll is trying to win their 1st Regional Title

Defending State Champions Wyoming went 15-0 last year and come in undefeated again this year. They beat Milton-Union 49-18 in Week 11 and Valley View defeated Milton-Union 49-48 in OT in Week 8. Valley View upset Clinton Massie 42-28 in Week 11.

Kirtland has been in D6 for the last several years and won the State championship last year. They only gave up 34 points in the Regular Season. (Have given up 31 in the first 2 playoff games) Akron Manchester started 3-3 and have won 6 straight including a Week 9 win over Orrville (29-26)
Manchester lost in Week 13 last year. Kirtland has won the Regional Title every from 2011-2018 with the exception of 2016 when they lost in Week 13 to Cuyahoga Heights. This is Kirtland’s 10th straight Week 13 appearance.

Oak Harbor comes into Week 13 after handling Pemberville Eastwood 34–14 in Week 12. They lost in Week 12 last year. Orrville came out of Region 17 and won the State Championship. They defeated Johnstown Monroe 49-34 in the State Finals.

Ironton lost in Week 11 last year after missing the playoffs the previous year. They have won 11 Regional Titles. Ridgewood has won 1 Regional Title and lost in Week 12 last year.

West Jefferson lost to West Liberty Salem in Week 8 (42-39).
