I wouldn't be surprised. The reasons he gave publicly for stepping down at Chillicothe, weren't the real reasons he left.

Don’t think it’ll be Hinton. Could be wrong tho but don’t think he’s a long term guy
Re: Unioto Football Coach? Anyone know anything?
It's almost getting comical with the amount of names I have heard thrown around at this point!

I dont see Hinton taking job.
He retired because he is old.
Maybe I am wrong but I dont see it.
I also dont think its the sexiest job to take for him. Maybe if we was walking into a program in which he could make deep playoff runs. Unioto is D3 and they are not going to get a ton of points beating up on the SVC. Meaning, making playoffs as a 8-5 playing 1-4 D3 is tough.
Hinton at PV would make more sense being D6 but Hollon aint goin no where. lol

Don’t think they have actually beaten up on the SVC. Or are you saying they would if he was coach?CavalierAlum05 wrote: Wed Nov 27, 2019 1:32 pm I dont see Hinton taking job.

Hire Coach Netter, you get a great coach and even better person.

agree- 100 %. Not a real high profile job. Can't see to much interest from the outside.fortdawg wrote: Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:55 pm Hire Coach Netter, you get a great coach and even better person.

Maybe so, Ruby is graduating. Hate to see him leave but if he does. We'll take Netter.
Re: Unioto Football Coach? Anyone know anything?
Would be all in on Evan Gallagher. Evan is a visionary. Learned under Hollon and has had success at Southeastern. He used the talent that was there and made the program the top in the SVC. If Gallagher is interested Unioto would make a great hire by making Evan the next head coach.
Re: Unioto Football Coach? Anyone know anything?
Agreed, If what he is saying is true ,Unioto would be crazy not to make that hire. He is 41-34 the last 7 seasons at SE with 2 titles. 35 of those wins coming the last 4 Seasons. I don't see him having any interests in the Unioto position but obviously people closer to the program have more information than I. Hopefully they get the right guy for the position.
Re: Unioto Football Coach? Anyone know anything?
I would not hold it against him if he chooses to use his recent success to get a "better job". I just don't see Unioto or Logan Elm being that much of an upgrade at the current time. They may be interested in him but would be surprised if he has reached out first to either of these schools.

It’s all just hearsay. I know nothing factual at this time just some buzz that I’m hearing.
