Even though we're not even a week into the season, here's my entirely too early "BBJUNKY81's TOP 18 of SEO".. Not all of these teams have played yet so a lot of this is from what I'm hearing from their scrimmages / returning potential.

A lot could change after this weekend!

Waverly is very close on my list, just waiting to see them get healthy and they should crack it.

Warren is solid but are without their best and most important player in Dennis. He’s the wheels that makes that bus turn.

North Adams had a bad loss (but maybe Minford is better than we’re giving them credit for?) and one respectable loss to a very good Jackson team. They’re going to be just fine

BBjunky81: I know you don't have them in your top 18, but keep an eye on Ironton. I saw them during the summer taking a good Jackson team to the wire. The Fighting Tigers have size, guards, shooters, and can go probably 7-8 deep. Normally I don't use summer ball as a measuring stick, but from what I saw of them, I would be shocked if they didn't win around 15 games in the regular season.

They will start out slow, though, due to their extended football season, with several key players. (Carrico, Hacker, Grizzard, maybe a few more)

... I TOTALLY agree trojandave ... discipline, defense, deliberate offense, strong with the ball, physically strong AND Coach Fitch is excellent -emphasizes fundamentals, Defense ... 15+W's ...

It's early but Eastern Pike may not be as bad as alot of people thought. They look better than I expected,I know there wins are over a very down East team and Green(which I think is a good D4 team)..Cochenour showing he not just a spot up shooter and the young role players around him(Leist,Carter,Mattox,Slusher,McBee,etc.) play hard and understand there roles.Coach Lockery has them playing surprisingly well out of the gate..tempo,tempo,tempo!Big test@ Minford tomorrow in first official game as soc2 member..they will Have to play even better than they have already to compete.. should be interesting.

Hoopie74 you are right! Most of the varsity players have put a lot of individual work in all summer long. Anxious to see practice start and get them working together. I think the depth is going to be hard for a lot of teams to contend with. I see us being able to go 10 deep every game.

Peebles season begins tonight with a league contest. We will see tonight if the Indians work will pay off. Fairfield at Peebles will be a battle as usual. These two teams are picked to finish stop The small school SHAC standings.My feeling is that these two squads will both finish in Pfloyds top 25 this year. Great rivalry!!

A BIG thank you to the AD's at Logan Elm & Zane Trace and Chillicothe & Adena for scheduling games on this past Thursday (LE vs ZT) and this coming Monday Chillicothe vs Adena !!! - got to love being able to go to games on usually OFF nights to see some of the best Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line !!! it's greatly appreciated by us Hoops Junkies AND the coaches who come to do some in-person scouting !!! this past Thursday at LE I saw - Adena, Vinton County, Unioto, Chillicothe, Bloom Carroll among the crowd "taking notes" ...
