In my opinion Fort Frye is a lot better then Warren. That one ref was so bad. I thought Fort played like they haven’t had a game since March. Cadets missed a ton of free throws and layups. Once they get into the basketball grove they win next game by 10-15.


Warren did lead by 7 with 5 mins to go but they don’t gave a pure ball handler and Cadets were able to score off turnovers. Evan Byrd did have a nice game and keep them in it.

Not trying to put any of these kids down at all, I completely respect the effort they put out for the community. I know what it’s like to put that jersey on. I’m just being as brutally honest as I can be as someone who has been there. Hopefully they’ll show some grit and use this to build off of. They have some guys who you can build with, but they have to grow up quick and be leaders. That will come with experience, which I know they don’t have. Once that happens, they’ll be okay.

Only lost by 3 after going down 12 after 4 minutes and playing without one of the best floor generals in the area isnt all that bad from my perspective...Fort Frye had 8 athletes didnt lose much when they went to the bench...Warren needs to rotate more players if for nothing else to get some experience for the younger kids and to keep some fresh legs for late in the game....with Simoniette and Chevalier and Taylor learning their new roles with the ball in their hands more, as time goes on they will get a ton better, it may take 10-12 games but they will improve. The defense was pretty good and may have to carry this team for awhile..just my opinion on the matter

Only lost by 3 after going down 12 after 4 minutes and playing without one of the best floor generals in the area isnt all that bad from my perspective...Fort Frye had 8 athletes didnt lose much when they went to the bench...Warren needs to rotate more players if for nothing else to get some experience for the younger kids and to keep some fresh legs for late in the game....with Simoniette and Chevalier and Taylor learning their new roles with the ball in their hands more, as time goes on they will get a ton better, it may take 10-12 games but they will improve. The defense was pretty good and may have to carry this team for awhile..just my opinion on the matter

Giving the Sallee kid a chance wouldn’t be bad. Gives them some plus athleticism and builds him for next year.

He was the good kid in the JV game with the long arms?? If so how come he doesn't play football?? He looked like a good athlete with a good motor around the rim.

Yes. Rumor is he’s playing football, fed up with soccer like Chevalier was. You can never have too many kids that are long and athletic.
