Burg won't be much better in 2020 than they were this year. The record may be better but the playoff run will be the same length. They will be much younger, maybe a little more talented, but smaller up front.

Wheelersburg is losing a big senior line , Mathews was an elite player and Horsley was a hard nosed football player. The players Wheelersburg have returning don’t exactly scare anyone. The heavily recruited 8th grade class will be sophomores. I doubt anyone on Wheelersburg schedule is losing an sleep , but rumor is the softball team is getting some real Scioto County talent. Ironton however is reloading as we speak.

I agree, they didn’t lose much, those seniors were bad by Wheelersburg standards, have to get better

That senior class was very good if I remember. Undefeated through Jr. High and 1 loss as freshman class to Ironton do to a controversial call where Gage Slayers clearly had the first down for Burg when he was there and the ball was moved back a yard. Here's my prediction for Wheelersburg next year.

The senior class was very talented but never seem to recover from losing the starting qb and rb in the summer
