That happens with high school kids. Sometimes they need an --s ripping I guess. Sometimes it inspires ,sometime not.Sure did inspire me in Dayton at Longfellow elementary in the 7th grade when coach ripped ours. 1968 was a different time though.

Jackson shot well too. I think I heard 47% and 14-16 ft

Kind of a strange game. For example Braxton Hammond and Minford player kinda got tangled and accidentally threw each other out of bounds....neither side of the gym made a noise lol. No one yelled at refs for a call or foul.

Both teams had lethargic spells. Jackson got up 34-16 and then Minford called a timeout and went on huge run....Jackson didn’t seem too concerned. Even Coach Morrow stayed in ponder stance. Minford pulled within 3 but didn’t even seem excited about it. Just kinda odd. Jackson 3rd game in 4 days didn’t have a ton of pep but now can rest and recover and get ready for Meigs in 9 days.

Minford fresh legs but seemed like slept in all break and these breaks are tough on high school kids. Man did they shoot though. Goodness. Not very tall, not super quick but man could they shoot. Good luck to them the rest of the way. Listen to your coach kids, he wants what’s best for you.

Jackson, solid win against a great shooting team. Gotta finish that 2nd qtr and keep momentum to halftime. Can’t get out rebounded 25-15 to a team of short players. Put your butt on them. I’ll shout out to Caden Donaldson for his hustle and play. Only 2 points but he’s just everywhere on the court and a great defensive player. Boston Kuhn, Griffin Brown and Drew Bragg all hit multiple 3’s and just make Jackson tough to defend. Hammond didn’t need to score like he has been. Great start to the season!

I forgot to mention the officiating was excellent. Good job guys. Nichols, Throckmorton and their tall partner.

We had them at the North Adams Holiday tourny Saturday. They were probably tired as well. I'm thinking they were 3 out if 4 days as well.
