Waverly is definitely the underdog. Especially since I expect them to still be without the services of Stulley. I know he's only a sophomore, but he will be a big help once he's able to return. Waverly desperately needs depth at guard. In order for Waverly to have a chance they need to stay out of foul trouble, the bigs need to win the rebounding battle, and Robertson needs a 20+ night. I expect Burg to win but won't be shocked if the Tigers pull it off. I think Waverly has a better chance at beating them in the second matchup later in the season.

Waverly is definitely the underdog playing the #1 team in the state

I am sure we can all agree that the poll result is only a reflection of Burg's recent success and poll voters seeing them undefeated again. Burg is a good team, but they may not be the best D3 team in the district, let alone in the state. They are finding a way to win and seem to be getting stronger as the season goes along. The best thing about the team to me is that the entire rotation will be back next year!

I hope If Waverly pulls it off, the crowd chants the obvious

Waverly 71-59

Robertson 42 pts

Miller was the one to maybe stop him

Kinda sounds like a rumor or the wrong Miller. Both of my kids in high school said they don’t know anything about it. 3 or 4 other boys in high school with the name Miller. I guess we will see tonight.

Maybe he will hide out until he leads the team onto the floor during warmups.

If no Miller I think this game is tight. I do think Robertson puts together a big shooting game...Miller or not but Miller playing give Burg a decent game advantage.

Good luck to both squads

I have only seen Waverly once but their size, and when the Brown kid realizes he can take the game over they will be a force ! I feel like if Waverly plays inside out game they will be a top team in the area! I knew this would be close !
