Yeah it's going to see if that coach can turn things around in year 2.

Burg will have 10 W's, no losses, Score of Ironton game will be 77-13 Burg. The Regulator wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 2:59 pm That senior class was very good if I remember. Undefeated through Jr. High and 1 loss as freshman class to Ironton do to a controversial call where Gage Slayers clearly had the first down for Burg when he was there and the ball was moved back a yard. Here's my prediction for Wheelersburg next year.

Re: Burg 2020
Better question. Why wouldn’t they win? Waverly should’ve won this year. Burg was bad for burg standards.

Agree 69- Burg will be reloaded and ready to go!!! I think the Ironton game will be closer than your prediction, but I too see the 10-0 Season!!!PirateFan[69] wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 8:32 amBurg will have 10 W's, no losses, Score of Ironton game will be 77-13 Burg. The Regulator wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 2:59 pm That senior class was very good if I remember. No that's not the question, you said no way they lose to Waverly. Which means it's a forgone conclusion that Burg wins this game. So you're the one that's got to explain that one to us. Nice try at the brush off though.laser breath wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:21 amBetter question. Why wouldn’t they win? Waverly should’ve won this year. Burg was bad for burg standards.

Reloaded from what exactly?? a 3 loss season?? Ok so you've got them down for 3 losses, cool.BurgBaskets wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 1:01 pmAgree 69- Burg will be reloaded and ready to go!!! Re: Burg 2020
No, he literally said he predicted a 10-0 season...on the basis of "reloading," to be quoted, Burg lost a lot of well developed players. That being said, many younger guys will have to step up. As does any other team. In this case, "reloading" means for burg to find another great rotation that beats up on everyone in the area, just like the last 7 years.......greygoose wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:23 pmReloaded from what exactly?? a 3 loss season?? No that’s the question you need to ask yourself. Because until waverly can prove they can win, your answer is pretty easy to answer.greygoose wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 11:22 pmNo that's not the question, you said no way they lose to Waverly. Typical laser answer, he has none. Burg lost more off that talented team from 2 years ago, probably looking at another 3 maybe 4 loss season simple as that.laser breath wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 7:59 amNo that’s the question you need to ask yourself. Lol. You can wish. One things for sure, one of those losses won’t come from waverlygreygoose wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:13 pmTypical laser answer, he has none. No I don't wish, doesn't matter to me one way or the other how many they lose. Just saying it's going to happen.laser breath wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:42 pmLol. You can wish. Re: Burg 2020
Ashland won’t be as good as they were but with Pittman will still be formidable. Of course, after that home cooking job at Burg this year, the Tomcats will be ready with a pretty good “crew” of their own. Ironton wasn’t getting out of Putnam Stadium with a win in 2019 and it will be very difficult for the Pirates to in 20
I see 2020 being a very pivotal year for Pirate sports. In able for the pipeline of good young talent to keep
flowing in, you have to
dominate. If they start losing an SOC game here and there, that talent will stay home.
Looking at that schedule I say Wheelersburg goes 8-2 next season. I would think if they secure a home playoff game, they wold win at least one playoff game as well.
I think the 2020 post season basketball season is very important for the Pirates. After losing to Waverly and Ironton in basketball this week, many young families might start staying home.

I see burg at 8-2 next year. Chillicothe is not good. Ironton and Jackson are the games I see being hard. Never know they could go 10-0 or 9-1.

Re: Burg 2020
The Wheelersburg staff is top notch. They work hard for their kids and have been solid for many years. All the other stuff on here is just a bunch of noise. I’m excited for what this team can do. They basically took a .500 team last year and molded a playoff team. This team will be solid. No big threats. Line will be more athletic in my opinion. Hopefully they can find some inside linebackers. I think that’s their biggest question mark. In a country of 327+ million, let’s face it, how many big time players are there really? Maybe one every 5 to 10 years. Really it’s about the couple of years of high school that go in a blink.
Re: Burg 2020
I strolled over to the off season work out. I’m very optimistic about this season. I didn’t realize some of the kids who will be impactful

Re: Burg 2020
Was there “athletes” everywhere and the “fastest” team in the Woodward era ? Oh and don’t forget the four best quarterbacks in the area on one team. Think about how arrogant that sounded.
