Jr High Prospects

Post by The Ghost of Swanker »

I know there’s a Jr High section but literally no one posts there.

Who are some players coming up that are gonna make some noise?

Northwest 8th grade has some good ones.
The point guard Lintz is a outstanding athlete about 5-10 and dunking a volleyball. Jay Jenkins runs the point sometimes, super athlete. Tanner Bolin plays the 3 is about 6-2 good shooter high basketball IQ. Logan Shepherd is a outstanding role player great defender and rebounder.

Sounds like NW might be bringing some heat in a few years.

I’ll be sure to take some notes at the annual SW tournament.

West has 3 guys that will be solid high school players.

From what I've seen there are some good players this year, but not the individual talent as last year.

Most of these teams are still trying to muddy the games up so much like peewee ball, it's difficult to watch at times

Going to depend how much work they put in.

Portsmouth's Devin Lattimore and DeAndre Berry will probably be moved up to the Trojan JV squad next season, and will make a varsity impact by their sophomore years.

Don't expect much of a look. The 8th grade group at SW is not real strong. Copley and Metzler will have their way.

Peebles.Another Browning coming up from 8th grade for next year as well as a kid(don't know his name) who can flat play and can grab rim right now. Can handle the ball and shoot. Coaches working to control his energy.Jenkins boy with alot of talent as well. He broke his arm this week ,so he will be out for a while. I'm sure he will be ready for next year.
From 7th grade Reed is awesome ball handler. Never know how they will be in future but, pretty impressive right now.
Fairfield has some good ones, North Adams with a good group.

Anymore Justice kids in the pipeline? Mr and Mrs Justice need to preserve their DNA and secure future stars for Peebles for decades to come
