I’m torn here. My mind and gut both say Burg has to win this game....but I can’t count out Oak Hill. Ironton and Waverly both surprised me at Burg...Burg needs to show they can win big at home (sounds funny)

If Burg wins by 10-15 I won’t be surprised but if Oak Hill pulls out a 47-46 win I won’t be shocked either.

If forced to bet $100 on this, I’d go with Burg

Nice win by the Pirates tonight!! With the exception of the 9-0 run the Oaks went on to start the second half to briefly take the lead, Burg responded everytime to maintain their lead. Sanderlin did a great job battling underneath with Hammond to limit his opportunities. #10 for Oak Hill really shot the ball well ending up with 24 or so points. Hard fought game.

Storm’n Norm did his best to have the boys ready but Pirates too much. Pirates make half their free throws in 4th qtr game is a lock with 2:00 to play. Wonder what his career record is against Wheelersburg. Been some good ones to watch and tonight was entertaining . But good to give couple losses to Norm this year.

Thought it was weird as well at first, but when I asked they said they were told to because OHSAA rules state that a cheer block cannot sit behind an opposing bench.

Some of the home games this year at Burg. The opposing teams’ cheer block was sitting in the section directly behind The Pirates’ bench instead of the end section closest to the locker room.

Big win for Burg to stay in the one loss column with Waverly.

Game got a little sloppy at times. Burg missed a ton of bunny shots and was horrible from the line. I think they missed 7 in a row at one time. They hit those this game is not even close.


Burg needs to win out and bring home another gold trophy and hopefully get a top 3 seed.

Not that it really matters overall, but I think the score at half was really 21-13 Burg over Oak Hill.
