Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
This should be a really good game and with the seeding implications I’ll have an ear to the ground on this one for sure. As much as I like Jackson and Wallis I’m going to have to give the advantage to Waverly in this one. Jackson is just due for a slip up and Waverly isn’t the team you want to do that with. Robertson has just been too good scoring the ball and I don’t think Jackson can slow him down.
Waverly 71
Jackson 64

Waverly has a very tough one with league ramifications Friday night - cant look ahead to this one.

Yikes. Big weekend. I think you guys can get both honestly. Robertson has been scoring it well. You guys beat Burg and burg just beat OH I believe. OH should be a W and beating Jackson would have to lock u into the 5 over Athens I’d have to think. Maybe the 4
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
Thread needed started. Big game. Waverly can win at OH and build more steam.

Can't have a Jackson County sweep this weekend if we don't care of Oak Hill Friday night. That's our next game.
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
I agree. But with Trey scoring the ball the way he has I don’t think it matters who you guys play.WHS2000grad wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 11:22 pm Can't have a Jackson County sweep this weekend if we don't care of Oak Hill Friday night. That's our next game.

It’s the next game for coaches and players, we aren’t any of them. We know each team is planning one game at a time....but fans aren’t as limited.
For me Hammond and Donaldson need to stay away from foul trouble. Will be huge on which team has others step up. If Jackson stays disciplined on defense, I like their chances. If either team is “meh”.....they won’t be winning this game.

Big game and great match of stud guards. I may have to find $3 and make the trip. Waverly healthy and has everyone. Better size and better shooters. Jackson kids play so hard but I think Robertson will go big and Waverly out scraps Jackson 67-63

Can’t wait for this matchup, watched Wallis and Robertson go at it in the summer and Robertson took it to him, but the summer is different. Without question the two best guards in the area, (the only two scholarship guards in the area, correct me if I’m wrong) should be fun to watch.
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
I believe the next summer league game they played was quite lopsided in Jackson’s favor.GoBrownies3 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 8:40 am Can’t wait for this matchup, watched Wallis and Robertson go at it in the summer and Robertson took it to him, but the summer is different. You’re wrong. I believe Cam Evans holds a D2 offerGoBrownies3 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 8:40 am Can’t wait for this matchup, watched Wallis and Robertson go at it in the summer and Robertson took it to him, but the summer is different. Doesn’t matter to a lot of people who wins the game as long as their guard wins the matchupIronman92 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 8:56 amI believe the next summer league game they played was quite lopsided in Jackson’s favor.GoBrownies3 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 8:40 am Can’t wait for this matchup, watched Wallis and Robertson go at it in the summer and Robertson took it to him, but the summer is different. So if Waverly beats Oak Hill and Jackson how much does their seeding improve. Great record, wins over warren, alexander Wheelersburg oak hill and Jackson. Loss to Miami Trace is an issue but did take place with two starters out. Other losses to Oak Hill and Fairland.

Depends on what others do as well....game against Wheelersburg big tooUkfanatic wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 10:04 am So if Waverly beats Oak Hill and Jackson how much does their seeding improve. Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
As much as I’d hate to say it they could possibly sneak in and get that 4 depending on how we finish but the 5 would have to be a lock, right?Ukfanatic wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 10:04 am So if Waverly beats Oak Hill and Jackson how much does their seeding improve.
