No surprise here. Jackson is good. Athens and Alexander are without their best players. VC is one game back and Meigs is two games back of the two leaders. Should be a 4 way battle for the TVC

Jackson Basketball rebuild started about 7-8 years ago. A district championship would be huge .

With a 31 pt win, I guess not much needs to be said. In the past you at times usually have some pretty positive things to say as far as the officials are concerned. I wasn't at the game, but a friend of mine that was there, didn't seem to think that the officials called a very good game.Ironman92 wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 8:49 pm Some of the stuff they aren’t calling vs some of the stuff they are. It was 10-13 point much of the game. Guessing they were Columbus area. I just can’t say they did a good job. Thin guy was so inconsistent. Really bad. First half had 21 fouls called and 2nd half with 6:00 left Jackson 2 fouls, VC 0, it was dumb....but man could he call the anticipated jump ball off of a rebound smh. The two travels I mentioned the ball handler was trapped to a stop and then just leaned and stepped and both teams just stopped as he passed the ball. Like time stood still. I get travels and that stuff aren’t called much but that was different.VetteMan wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 10:28 pmWith a 31 pt win, I guess not much needs to be said. I’ve given refs more compliments after games on here than anyone but not many left the gym last night thinking the refs did a good job.
