Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
Made the trip. Game was underwhelming outside if Wallis and the 4th quarter. Wallis was lights out on Robertson. Tremendous mirroring. Futhee was a big man out there and had alot of rebounds. I’m not buying the tired stuff. Were they seriously tired in the first quarter because they played last night? Sure didn’t look tired in the 4th when they were going hard at Jackson. Wouldn’t the tired come more as the game goes on? Felt like a 20 point game all game never in doubt. I came to watch Wallis and Robertson go for 30 each and I didn’t get to see much of that. Wallis about 17 and Robertson 4 points after 3 quarters. Wallis more assists I think to. Better defender to. No question on best point guard. Waverly has 5 losses? We could get them in the first round and I think we match up pretty good! We beat Fairland and Fairland embarrassed them. Basketball is about match ups

He already knows that and it doesn’t matter what grade he is. That’s a bad man!!
The way Robertson had been playing I thought Waverly could get this one. Jackson just a little too much for Waverly tonight.
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
Some good players but with him being a senior I’d say start the talk...
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
So if he was a junior doing what he’s doing no? I don’t get it.smurray wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 10:47 pmSome good players but with him being a senior I’d say start the talk...

I’m not real familiar with how that all works with the voting. I just know he’s been the best player in the district this year on both ends of the floor. We’re blessed to have some of the players we have to watch on the weekends.smurray wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 10:47 pmSome good players but with him being a senior I’d say start the talk...

I don’t know, don’t being a senior usually carry more weight if it’s close?
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
Who’s close?
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
If it’s close it does. I don’t think we are looking for tie breakers.
Re: Waverly @ Jackson 2/1
I don’t know, I haven’t seen everybody play but there are obviously some pretty good teams in D2 with some very good players.
He is very very good from what I saw tonight.

Sheridan and Fairfield Union are great teams and might be the 1 and 2 seeds but they don’t have a standout star. They have very good players that make up very good teams. Last year Sheridan had Heller, he was a star. Wallis is a star.
