How did you come up with your user names?
Re: How did you come up with your user names?
Just an abbreviation of my full name; I have been using this name on various chats and message boards for 25 years. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for The Illuminati to trace my activity.

Mine is also self-explanatory, but too close to another poster's name. Probably should change just to avoid confusion. But then again, I'm sure Chilli' big enough for both of us!

Mine is a little complicated and it may not be. I am older than most of you on here, but when I was kid, I used to watch M*A*S*H with my maternal grandmother, Nana, and she loved that show, especially the character Benjamin Franklin (Hawkeye) Pierce. Hawkeye had dry biting sarcastic humor, much like me, but he always remained a voice of reason. So I kind of see myself in that iconic character. On a sadder note, the year the last M*A*S*H episode played, 1983, Nana was going through treatment for breast cancer, she died that September. So, it is also a tribute to her. I miss her everyday and because of this forum, it helps me think of her, everyday.

Dandy Don - aka Dandy Don Meredith.
Grew up watching Monday Night Football with my dad. Back then it was on ABC. In the booth was Howard Cosell, Frank Gifford and Don Meredith.
Dandy Don was the exact opposite of Howard Cosell who was a blowhard (if Cosell were still alive I swear he would be Paladin). Gifford was monotone and super dry. Meredith was the life of the party and was I am sure stoned or drunk during some of the broadcasts. He was a former Cowboy turned commentator and he always remained more interested in the Dallas cheerleaders than he did the actual game. He once referred to Nixon as Trick Dick on the air and back then that caused quite the *&^%storm lol. One of his famous lines was turn out the lights the party's over, and he used it often. Never took himself too seriously and enjoyed his time here on earth. Just always like his outlook, so that's where the name stems from.

Lifetime Indian. Several ahead of me wore #42 so when I got to choose I wore it for a couple of years. Something simple for me, but this make me think I wish I would have taken more time to be creative.
