With the flu junk and schools being closed, Waverly has been off since last Tuesday. Zeke Brown was out with the flu last week but is expected to be back. I believe Waverly is fairly healthy and itching to get back on the court tonight at Northwest.
I believe Wheelersburg hosts Eastern for Senior Night tonight. When was the Pirates last game?

... ugggghhhhh was hoping for another date other than this Thursday as I will be in Chillicothe to see my #1 Chillicothe vs #2 Jackson ... YOURS should be a dandy though ! Waverly wanting to take the SOC1 from Wheelersburg ... the match-up betwee Trey Robertson and Miller of the Burg will be special I'm sure ! - Waverly wins this one if TR can "do what he does" - control tempo, score the ball on the perimeter, penetrate to get that mid range pull up jumper AND get to the rim ... IF T Robertson can be T Robertson I like the Tigers in this one ! as it will open up the floor for Smallwood/Futhey & Co. TR needs to find them so THEY can contribute on the offensive end - as BOTH are excellent players ... best of luck to both teams in this one !!!

Excited this one will finally be getting played come tomorrow night. Burg is playing a very good ball as of late and seem to be firing on all cylinders coming into this one. Waverly has been playing well the past couple of games, we will see if they can continue you that at home, a place where oddly they have struggled at times. I think the Tigers will see a somewhat improved Pirates team this time around and they will need to play their best game to have a shot to win it. It will be difficult to beat the Pirates twice.

Also, another reminder that Waverly will be collecting donations for the Smith family from Adena. I know there will be a big crowd so hopefully everyone that is able can bring a few extra bucks to the game and we can all work together to help this family out.

I think Wheelersburg has a very good chance. Unless there’s some underlying information that you’re not sharing, I think this game is a true 50/50 and could go either way.

But there would have to be A LOT to happen for me to give Burg “no chance”.

I would say no Truitt or McCorkle would be a tough go if it but still winnable
