Shout out to all female crew at Athens/Wellston. Very consistent and fair
Saw a photo of them. Almost looks like a crew that does Ohio University games
They are from Columbus. Every once in awhile you'll see them down this way.
I thought they did an OK job
They don't take sh** from coaches, that's for sure. lol

I thought they did a good job. They called a few nothings IMO but kept game well in control and were consistent. Stephens had some tic tacks on him but overall a good performance I thought. We had them at Miami Trace last year and they called everything. Much better last night. The one looked like she could start for either team last night.

Zane Trace 54
Ironton 50
Final
Am I the only one that is a little surprised at this score ? If the game was at ZT, maybe I just thought it would have been a little larger margin. Ironton is never an easy out at tournament time, so they may just be peaking at the right time.
Ironton has led Fairland, Chesapeake, and Zane Trace all in the 4th quarter but couldn't close out any of those games. If they played in a weaker league they would be a 3-4 seed, but due to their league and tough out of conference they are the 11 seed.
Assuming both will meet in the sectional final, Oak Hill and Ironton should be a great game.
The OVC is indeed a very good basketball conference......case in point, Fairland beating Waverly convincingly, and Ironton winning at Wheelersburg. Waverly and Wheelersburg are playing for the SOC title on Thursday, while Ironton is in 4th place in the OVC. There are very few easy games in conference play, even Portsmouth lost at Ironton by 1 and at Fairland by 2 in OT, and the Trojans are in 5th place in the standings. Gallia Academy pulled the upset of the year in the conference knocking off Fairland. Chesapeake has lost only twice in conference play, both to Fairland.
Very good showing by the Fighting Tigers at #2 seed Zane Trace.
