Yes

Fairfield tougher schedule and consistently better. Long as they don’t play like they did when they hosted Whiteoak I think they should win by 10.

Fairfield is guard oriented. If they hit a few early outside the middle will open for their big kid. He can fill it up if his head is in the game. The played Peebles tough this year and played anyone who would play them out of conference.athletic and proud.

Thanks, I always thought that they were pretty competitive when I watched them in the past.

Guard play is SG weakness along with rebounding, SG will play 1/3/1, they can not handle quick guards. Interesting to see if South Gallia length will come into play.(length doesnt equal rebounds unfortunately... I know fairfield has a big guy. What are the guards sizes? And are they a man to man or zone team? Really pulling for South Gallia's Jarrod Burdett to caught fire for just one game!!!!!!!!! If so game will be close. If not.......... will lose by 20.

Wyatt Willy is 5'11 or do guard.very good. Can go off. Priest kid is much the same. Good defender. Bentley is I think 6'5" and strong. He will be the wild card in my opinion. He can be pretty dominant at times. Willy is always there. Can play pretty deep from the bench. Pressure defense. Will play whatever it takes. Can play zone ,but; will trap and some full court pressure. Dependent on match ups. They have played Cincinnati Northwest,Blanchester,SHAC teams Eastern Brown,North Adams Peebles x2,Ripley, and also Hillsboro. They duck no one and play hard.

ok,,,i'll take 6'5 .... thought he was 6'8. should be a decent then.... SG has couple kids 6'4 and all starters are 6''0 plus.

Key to SG win

Rebounding!!!!!!--- have to block someone out. I know 1/3/1 is hard,, but you HAVE to find someone. I do not have stats in from of me but, i know SG has been out rebounded in almost every game.... Thats a TON of second chance points on the board....

SG have a big freshman? Kid was always big at Rio Camp. Should be a freshman. Hammond kid? Saunders kid? Are those kids in the mix ?

I think South Gallia is a year away from being really good. They struggle with a press. If Fairfield presses them it’s gonna be a long night. If the rebels can run their offense and use their length I think they can keep it close.

That won’t matter much in this contest. Fairfield though has had good success in several sports, not world bangers in boys basketball but solid. XC team has been to state like 8 straight years, girls softball some regional runs. State medalists in track....and football team goes undefeated every year.

Know it's a long shot, but will there be any radio coverage of this game?

dang hated being right with the score. Great first half by both teams.. Second half,,, Fairfield made a defensive change... Were in a 1/3/1 pulled one of wings up and made it like a 2/2/1... Had the bentley kid controlling the paint.. the 3 wings on the SG guards.. Unfortunately SG with no change for this. Congrats to Fairfield.

Fed Hocking still best team I've seen this year.
