I saw it was posted for district 14. Just wondered about the other districts. Particularly the OVC teams.

This isn't OHSAA district. It is Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association (OHSBCA) districts. OHSBCA District 13 & 14 cover the OHSAA Southeast District. I know... confusing.

I found it hard to believe that Northwest's staff didn't place their only senior, Keirah (spelling) Potts on the list for honorable mention.

She would have to receive votes by the other coaches to receive the honor. Her coaches can't control that.

I don’t know if her coach nominated her or not, I was just saying you have to be nominated before others can vote for you. And if I were you I wouldn’t get to worked up if your daughter weren’t selected. It’s all a popularity contest and these awards don’t mean anything.

As a parent of a former student/athlete, it meant something to both of my kids.
