Awesome game and would be a fun atmosphere for anyone attending. This is what Rosecrans wanted and they're getting it.
Just for narrative purposes I actually think Hiland wins this game.

Here is a comparison that I found:
DIV IV #6 * DIV IV #8
Bishop Rosecrans Hiland
67.5 ppg * 56.1
20-3 * 17-4
playing at HOME *
Bishop Rosecrans Losses:
DIV III #1 (19-3) Harvest Prep (x2- by 12)
DIV II unranked (11-11) Licking Valley (by 2)
Hiland Losses:
Toledo Christian- DIV IV #9 (by 17)
Ridgewood DIV III #10 (by 7)
Tusky Valley DIV III (16-6) unranked (by 10)
Western Reserve (13-16) unranked (by 5)
Bishop Rosecrans has been ranked as high as #2 and as low as #6 in state rankings this year
Hiland has been ranked as high as #8 and as low as #12 in state rankings this year
above info found on Maxprep; OHSAA

Probably. I’m sure both schools look at this as the regional final game

Yep, might as well get bracketed together at sectionals and get it out of the way early and then take a couple easy wins to rest up for the regionals.Raider6309 wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:04 pmProbably. I’m sure both schools look at this as the regional final game

Maybe more like a district final since it would be impossible for these 2 to meet in the regional final. Grandview Heights may be a tall task!

Re: East District- Sectional Finals #1 Bishop Rosecrans v. #2 Hiland
With Rosecrans, this game means everything. This senior class is considered their last chance to make a big tournament run. And they (rightfully) believe they need to make a statement, by jumping on Hiland and beating them in front of a packed Rogge Gymnasium. Lots of people are excited in their community, and understandably so. The transition to 8-man has rendered their football irrelevant and they lost their softball program last year. This is full tilt and a win (and a deep tournament) is going to keep the energy for their community and keep their spirits strong. A loss and it’s going to be a huge, huge, huge, punch in the gut and be hard to recover from.Raider6309 wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:04 pmProbably.
