Mattash has secured my pass this week and I want to thank him for that! The OU media guy definitely respects SoutheasternOhiopreps more this year as he put us with the media instead of simply saying — yeah there’s probably room over there with the coaches .....

Saturday Night between games he mentioned something to me about how we were there for every game and that he appreciated us. It’s nice to be respected and given a place at the table.

See you tonight at The Convo. And if you are paying attention to the updates tonight — I try not and show bias during the District Tournament but I will definitely be using us vs them tonight and during the Regionals. The SE district teams are representing all of us these next 3 nights and there will be bias in the Updates.

Tonight is normal. They are making an announcement tomorrow morning how the rest of the Regionals will progress and if press will be allowed. Immediate family members and essential personnel is what I’m seeing

My son works in emergency mgt and has been in on a ton of meetings about this virus. Latest info is that it is highly contagious booger with human to human contact. However, 80% who are infected will either not know it or think they have a mild cold. The other 20% will be somewhere sick between what feels like a bad cold to the flu. About 1% will die - almost every one of those will be 75+ years old with comorbidities and younger people with serious illness/suppressed immune systems. So, basically, if you a healthy person, you probably won't get the virus, if you do, you will experience a mild illness. It's old grandma that is really at risk.

8000 people have died from the flu this year and no one says a word - and certainly no one is cancelling big events. But the scare about this virus has politicians covering their butts. If granny dies after coronavirus infection, it's the powers that be's fault if they don't take radical steps - which is really nonsense, but that's where we are.
