All great places to get some food!

La Cascada is in my top 3 in Logan as well. I think they have additional locations in Lancaster and Hillsboro.

Yes! Same location since 1954. They have a second location on Western Avenue now. It isn’t as good as the original, but is still good.

In SEO:

1.) The Ribber- there is no other comparison
2.) Old Canal Smokehouse- I would make the drive just for their Armadillo Eggs (Jalepenos stuffed with smoked chicken, wrapped in bacon and grilled)
3.) Hickies Hamburgers
4.) Milestone in Logan- been twice, great food
5.) Arch and Eddies in Jackson OR The Armory in Ironton. Tied for 5th place

Here is a list for Logan old timers, no longer operating or changed ownership, for the worst -

The Sportsman - terrific menu, great steaks and home style casseroles

A & W Root Beer & hot dog stand - teenage favorite

Log Cabin - downtown lunch hot spot when in H.S.

Knotty Pine - my first love affair with burgers

Brandt’s - lunch or dinner was always good

The old original Jacks Steakhouse

Home Tavern - still good but changed radically

And who can forget the original Dairy Queen. Kenny and Dwight had a legend with their stuffed shirt sandwiches, foot long coney dogs, fries and shakes.

I thought years ago sportsman had the best pizza

B&K was always good, root beer and Spanish hot dogs. A & W is now where Bush's is

Log Cabin where everybody knew your name

Knotty Pine with their tummy buster

Brandt's where all patrol boys went

Jack's "The Five Mile" at 595

Home Traven is top for sports followers

Kenny and Dwight's Dairy Queen became the Shake Shoppe when they didn't want to pay for the DQ name.
