Retirement didn't last long for Coach Persin as he takes on the Head Coaching duties at Lucasville Valley, thoughts?

Plenty in the cupboard for Valley. Horton would have won as well with whats there and whats coming up.

PDT says Kyle Copley will be an assistant coach for Persin. Great staff in place for Valley*

Top notch hire for Valley. Sounds like a great staff in place too. I do not necessarily agree that the same amount of winning would have taken place under the old staff. It seemed there was a major disconnect between the players and the coach. I have heard many stories for and against the previous coach, enough to lead me to believe this is the right move for both parties. Coach Persin will do a great job at Valley. I hope Coach Horton gets a fresh start somewhere as well.

Heard that Ryan Fenton is also joining Valley's coaching staff. He was head coach 4 years at South Webster and was an assistant coach at Ironton this past year. Great knowledge of the game and will learn a bunch more under Persin. Solid staff that Persin already assembled at Valley just got better.*

Darn, I was hoping to see him in the Old French City. I believe that he still lives here. Surely there is a move in his future.

If the couldn't handle Horton who is a very good coach will be interesting to see how they can handle Norms tough ways.Baseball_Dad wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 11:11 am Top notch hire for Valley. I don’t think it was a matter of “handling” anything.

Why are you always attacking the BOE at Valley E High?
Did one of them not sell you beer at Gahm’s?

This is some great stuff! Hahaha!
The Robertson kid is special and Waverly (and Burg) are two very talented squads, but Valley took Waverly to OT last year at Waverly. I pretty sure Valley's freshmen helped lead the way that game. Kind of hard to outright dismiss Valley, even though the other teams are clear favorites.
