Duck Duck Go

I'm really curious what you folks think of Duck Duck Go. It is billed as a private search engine.

I have been using it for awhile now-not entirely though. One thing I have noticed that when I come to this site....the Google logo along with Amazon and Facebook logos disappear. Those 3 and others can't see what I am doing here. Other websites like the NY Times (who cares about them anyway) and some other news sites won't let you view their stuff on Duck Duck Go....and I for one say phooey on you.

I will be using the Big 2, Google and Bing for awhile longer but I think this private browser is a keeper!!

That's my opinion....so far. I'll make my final decision in about 30 days.

Any opinions?? Would love to hear them....

I have used DDG for two months in an effort to reduce the volume of ads based on search inquiries. However I have seen no discernible difference over using Bing or Google. That and DDG seems to be a little less user friendly in my experience. I am afraid that any expectations of privacy from marketing on the internet of things is a pipedream. I will give DDG another month.
