Not surprised that Scot resigned, just a little bewildered by the timing of his resignation. After just being rehired this past Monday evening, and spending the past 11 years as the Girls Head Coach, he certainly has earned the right to say enough is enough.

I was told yesterday that the Wellston Teachers Association had filed a grievance over the hiring of a non-teacher for the position of Head Girls Basketball Coach. Apparently a teacher had applied for the job, and was not hired. At the same meeting, the person that had previously been in this position for the past 11 years, and had been rehired ( June 8th ) and then 2 or 3 days later resigned, then for whatever reason changed his mind a little over a month later, and decided to reapply for the same position. He was rehired as the Head Girls Basketball Coach, and now we are at the point of the grievance being filed.
