I usually never pick against Wheelersburg and picked them last year but that ironton team is the real deal. I say ironton 35-21. Carrico is a monster.

I think Quarterback play is gonna be huge in this game. Both teams are bringing in new starting quarterbacks this year so whoever is able to perform better at that position should have an advantage.

Burg will be a good team this year. Line play will be good. Carrico will be more dangerous on the offensive side of the ball. Going to take multiple hats on the ball. I do think burg will move the ball a lot better this year. I’m a burgfan, so I’ll take burg +1

Ironton wins. Many around the program actually think this team will be better than last years. They return 16 starters on Offense and Defense and have a very talented Soph. Class that went undefeated last year as freshman and beat everyone handily.

I’m hearing Kyle Howell will be the Kicker, heard he’s booming the ball this year.

The question will be if ironton can get enough production out of there QB. He’s pretty good from my understanding. I’m sure burg will bring 8 in the box to try to stop Carrico and the carter kid.

Not sure who burg will settle with. I think they have three too competing for it. You never know about burg, they will give anyone a shot to compete for it. I’ve seen them switch to wide receivers and running backs for the job.
