"Werewolves of London" by the late Warren Zevon. It hit #21 in May of 1978.

Still one of those songs I add to a mix tape...sorry, CD.

The late Duane Allman played lead on original recording...if I remember correctly
Duane played the slide guitar licks on the original. Eric wanted him to join Derek and the Dominos full time, but Duane kept his commitment to the Allmam Brothers Band.

Several others come to mind, I’ll have to right them down and post. Not bad for a guy that’s under 40 🤣
