Week 11 OSU vs. PSU
The Buckeyes come off a bye week, and Joe Pa just got #400.
In years past Penn State has played well against the Buckeyes, while traditionally a bye week has signaled a slow start for Tressel coached teams.
PSU is down this year, but has show steady improvement over the course of the season.
I expect a double digit win from the Buckeyes, but also expect a good showing from PSU.
What are your thoughts?

OSU should win fairly easily in this one. With that said, I think once the Buckeyes get a comfortable lead, they'll settle and become conservative, as usual.
OSU-27
PSU-14
OSU-27
PSU-14

Re: Week 11 OSU vs. PSU
Now they traditionally start out slow after a bye week...What else could it be?.... I hear they dont play well at night....They traditionally dont play well against Illinois...They dont play well at Penn State.....Their secondary is the problem......Their special teams are the problem....they dont put teams away after getting a big lead....Their defense suffers because of Heacock....They cant run the ball because of their offensive line and Bollman...they have no running backs....on and on and on....Sounds like a lot of weaknesses...or excuses.

If you actually watched OSU, you'd understand what was said.
Also, who has complained about Heacock?
This game is neither at night, nor at PSU.
The secondary is highly injured, and the special teams does suck.
Your posts show your hatred of the Buckeyes, and also your inexperience in actually watching them.

Penn State is improving. OSU injured and not tested since the loss to Wisconsin. If the Bucks are looking ahead to Iowa, Joe Pa's Lions pull the upset 21-16.

Re: Week 11 OSU vs. PSU
i said osu by 14, but thats hard for anybody to say, northwestern was 6-2 , coming into the penn state game. and penn state got way behind. then magic came to that stadium. not only the catch for a td to portsmouth's cadogen. but just a spark came back to penn state. then jopa gets carried off by his players, and he closes on an open mike by saying lets go beat ohio state.
with that said, we better not come out flat i was watching him play my buckeyes in 2001 when he had his last hallmark win for history. and i watched yesterday as he won his 400th. what can i say i love the guy. i'm a diehard buckeye fan. but we better not come out flat. and play conservative. i'd love nothing more than see the buckeyes win out. but we gotta lotta football left against some good squads, time to keep the hammer down. go bucks.

Ross Homan should be back.
JT's press conference is Tuesday, we should know more specifics then.

Alabama and Iowa both beat PSU 24-3.
PSU's new QB has played much better than Bolden.
I think OSU has their hands full if they don't treat this like a big game. If they do, I think they win 27-10 or somewhere along those lines.

McGloin or some such name.
He started against UM and torched them. He also torched Northwestern.
While neither is a good pass-D, the QB before this one didn't torch anyone, including the bad teams.
