Tampa Bay 30....23 Boston. The Bruins had the better chances as Tampa struggled to get the puck out of their D zone.

Lightning need to come out on fire or.....well, you know. Also...game 3 is set for 7 PM eastern tomorrow night.

Tampa definitely had the advantage in OT....keeping the pressure on the Bruins. Yanni Gourde played very well for the Lightning....hustling on every shift. Vasilevskiy and Halak played well also.

Edmonton..

Bo Horvat scored twice while Tyler Toffoli and Elias Petterson each had a goal and 2 assists as Vancouver beat the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2 to even their series at 1. Jacob Markstrom made 38 saves for the Canucks.

Early game in Toronto...

Islanders came out hot and almost scored in the first 30 seconds. Philly gets a goal from Kevin Hayes 1:57 into the game; a high, blocker side shot. Hayes scores again for the Flyers at the 9:46 mark....another blocker side shot lasr Varlamov. 2-0 Flyers....7:08 left in first.

Well....the Islanders found it within themselves to come all the way back and we are heading to OT.

Anders Lee scored on a power play in the second period to make it 3-1. Beauvillier scored at the 11:14 mark in the third to cut the lead to one. J.G. Pageau wristed one in with 2:15 left to complete the comeback. Thomas Greiss has 18 saves in relief of Varlamov. Shots on goal after regulation NY Islanders 33...28 Flyers.

That didn't last long. Phillippe Myers scores at 2:41 in OT and the Flyers win 4-3 to tie the series.
