You say "dominated." I say Fort Frye spotted them three scores on their home field and still won. That was a really good Wildcat team, too. Wasn't that during their "never losing a game in The TVC" phase?EasternDspy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 10:33 pmefarns wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:57 pm. . . As though Fort Frye suddenly had a bunch of college prospects move into the district. If The Cadets were suddenly putting a bunch of 250 lb monsters out there, I guess I could see protecting your defenseless children. They are just high school kids, after all. But they're basically telling their kids they'll never compete with Fort Frye.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:19 pm
Shenandoah said they won’t play Fort bc Fort is to big yet I heard with open enrollment they’ll have a bigger school next year. They agreed to play Fort this year but backed out to play Cambridge. It’s ok they’ll both be in the same region for awhile I’m sure will see them in the playoffs. #YouCanRunButNotHide
Waterford, on the other hand, supports their program and their kids win one on occasion. You've gotta respect that they're willing to compete. What year was it that The Cadets had three or four first quarter turnovers and still won?
That was 17. Waterford dominated that game but they just wore down. Fort took the lead in the 3rd and just grinded out the clock. Bradford had a heck of a game at FB.
2020 Fort Frye 22 - 6 Waterford

FF line is just going to push Waterford around. One of the bigger more athletic lines the Cadets have had.

Waterford looked really good putting to Crooksville last night. Holden Dailey is going to be a load.
Fort Frye made easy work of Morgan.

Score predictions? Waterford returning entire defense. Fort Frye having a great offensive line this year.

Honestly I think it will be similar to last year 40-6 or so.sharpshooter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:13 pm Score predictions? Waterford returning entire defense. Fort Frye having a great offensive line this year.

Both teams returning talent. What is new with Fort. Waterford gets two new transfers that could be potentially starting for them.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:29 pmHonestly I think it will be similar to last year 40-6 or so.sharpshooter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:13 pm Score predictions? Fort Frye line is crazy athletic. They return a stud QB in Ian Ellis. They got 3 returning backs in Owen Brown , Collin Welsh , Brian Adkins. Also Dylan Hart is a first team all stater. The difference in Fort Frye and Waterford is depth. Only a handful of players play both ways. Even SO back up FB Ethan Duskey is a monster.sharpshooter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 7:43 pmBoth teams returning talent. What is new with Fort. Waterford returned a lot of key players. But lost a couple of key players. This game will be a toss up. I predict it will be close. Which will be Waterford defense vs Fort Frye offenseEasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 9:05 pmFort Frye line is crazy athletic. They return a stud QB in Ian Ellis. Last year it was 49-0. I just don’t see Waterford closing the gap this Fort team is special. Waterford has a new QB that’s going to be a long night for him. The Cadet returns the entire DL.sharpshooter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 3:05 pmWaterford returned a lot of key players. But lost a couple of key players. This game will be a toss up. Waterford D is stout returning basically 8 of 11. That O might be rough but the coaching staff should have them prepared. Should be a decent game. Fort graduated everyone but a few. Guess we’ll see if they reloaded or unarmed.
