Look out Michigan football fans, a Big Ten protest may be coming near you, and it seems you're invited. When some of the parents of some of the Big Ten football players gathered at the Big Ten headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois last weekend, their was only one person from Michigan in attendance, Melissa Hutchinson. According to Aidan, his mother Melissa is helping organize a broader protest on September 5th. I'm not sure yet just where it's going to be held, maybe by the Big House ? She wants fans to attend, players as well. She wants to see how many parents will come. We want to plan this protest in order to shine some light upon this issue. I'm all for the protest or the gathering or whatever, but details need to be provided ASP if you want a good turnout.

Just read that " The Big Ten Coaches Are Meeting Right Now!" Just reported that Bishop and James, on 97.1 The Fan , just reported that the Big Ten Coaches are meeting " Right Now " to discuss how to get a season started this fall. I hope this is not another of the Rumors that we hear about everyday.

More than likely hashing out what they would like to see in a 2021 winter or spring season. In our OSU football passion we forget that football coaches work for the athletic director. The AD works for the university presidents who also employ the Big 10 commisioner. There will be no season until the university presidents agree to a season.

Last I heard only three prez's were open to play football this year (Ohio State, Nebraska and Iowa) Need a lot more to change their minds.

Former Buckeye linebacker Rackwon McMillan has been traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Las Vegas Raiders. The trade also includes a fourth round pick for the Dolphins, and a fifth round pick for the Raiders in the 2021 NFL draft.

Not sure if the thanksgiving weekend start will happen or not. I think it’ll take an awful lot for them to go back on their decision. I’m hoping. But. Not expecting

I am a big fan of McMillan. Many felt he never quite lived up to his billing at Ohio State because he rarely made the spectacular play. Yet he played his position in text book fashion, almost always keeping the play in front of him.

University of Arizona's all time winningest basketball coach, Lute Olsen, has passed away at the age of 85. The University of Arizona released a statement saying that, We are forever indebted to you for what you did for our program, university and our community. Olson had been previously reported to be in poor health earlier this week. He had been hospitalized in February, 2019 after suffering a stroke. If I'm not mistaken, Olson was the head coach at the University of Iowa before going to Arizona.

University of Washington football player Joe Tryon is the latest college football player to say he won't play this season and will enter the 2021 NFL draft.. Tryon who has been mentioned as a first round pick has already signed with an agent, and will no longer play college football regardless of what happens with the Washington football season. ( He no doubt has probably already dropped out of school, being he has signed with an agent) Before the season was cancelled, Tyron was involved in a movement of PAC-12 players demanding a Covid-19 safety protocol and other changes in college football.

Even though LSU plans to go on with their 2020 football season, it looks as if they may be without their top receiver. LSU star wide receiver Ja'Mare Chase has informed the team that he is choosing to opt out of the 2020 season to concentrate on his professional career, and to declare for the 2021 NFL draft. A formal announcement is expected on Monday.

Memphis running back Kenneth Gainwell, a redshirt sophomore has decided to opt out and not play this fall season for the Tigers. The Gainwell family has been hit very hard with the coronavirus pandemic, including the recent death of Kenneth's uncle, a loss that has been very hard on Kenneth. Four members of the Gainwell family have died from Covid-19, and the risks associated with the virus played a roll in his decision to not play this fall.

Former Arizona linebacker Colin Schooler will be eligible to play immediately this fall at Texas Tech, after leaving the PAC-12 team for which he started the past three seasons. The PAC-12 has opted against playing football this fall because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Big 12 plans to play a reduced 10 game schedule that starts September 12th. Tech coach Matt Wells said Sunday that Schooler, a graduate transfer joined the Red Raiders last week. Schooler had 318 tackles in 37 games at Arizona, and goes into his final season with 46 tackles for loss, the most among any active FBS players.

Finally a small amount of transparency about the Big 10's decision to cancel the fall season. Court documents regarding the presidents vote on the season indicate there was a 11-3 majority to cancel.
