Craft ball handle was amazing tonight being able to break the press mostly by himself the whole night.Sullinger got alot of easy dunks tonight from the buckeyes breaking the press so easily.Good Win.

Btw the buckeyes have 3 team in the top 10. Football-9 Mens Basketball-5 Womens Basketball-7 just wanted to point that out

Is college basketball so far water down because there is no way the Gators should have been rated.

The gators were rated that high based on returning 5 starters, a real nice recruiting class, and a very solid coaching staff.

Were they rated too high, probably.

Does it make it less sweet, heck no!

It was close for a while. Good win for the Bucks. Florida should have a nice year, but they were ranked a little high.

Even in March, I'd take that shooting performance and mark most any game up as a win before tip-off. They rebounded better in the 2nd with the bigger lineup in the game but just as last year and the year before and the year before and so on the Bucks really struggle rebounding defensively at times. I wonder sometimes if it is mindset or our philosophy. It is early and Matta is very good at figuring out his player potential and his rotation so things will only get better and last night was pretty darn good, especially the second half.

If Lighty shoots even close to what he did last night, it will be a great season. His dribble drive action may be comparable to Turner's by March because of his strength and athleticism.

Florida will have some ups and downs but will probably be a tough out come time to dance. Too many quick deep three balls chucked up. Albeit they hit several of them but with their quicks, they can get a semi contested 3 anytime in the shot clock and don't need to settle for those shots 5 seconds into a shot clock. With that many returners, they should be utilizing more of Billy D's set offensive skills when the break isn't available. The Bucks looked like a much more veteran team last night. Of course with Lighty on the floor and healthy we gain alot of experience, so much that if he doesn't go to the league next year he will probably be elig for OPERS retirement from the state.

Does that count as Ohio State finally beating an SEC team ?

I expected Ohio State to win.

I figured the two key stats were turnovers and rebounding. Florida won the rebound battle, but only forced 7 TOs. When you press all game and only force 7 TOs, there's a problem.

In all honesty, our best big man is dinged up and I expected Sullinger to eat him up and he did. Florida is a top 12 team and they will prove that over the course of the year.

^^ Stand up comment! Regardless of what conference a team play in, 2 teams take the field/court and one wins the other loses. The last 2 against the Gators have gone our way but if we meet again this year who knows what will happen. The teams represent the conferences but the SEC will NEVER play the Big10 as a group in any sport so the debate about one beign superior to the other is ridiculous. Everyone has an opinion but it gets old beating the same horse all the time. FT45 defends the SEC but more than that is a Gator fan and I like that, someone that doesn't jump from team to team to make the best case and if the Gators lose he will come on here and say the other team was better, at least on the given day/night.
